Such a great Attorney!!!

I have an Ex-Wife that doesn't know when to quit. She took me to court for higher child support after I retired and was on a fixed income. She didn't win one motion and took me to appeals court in spite. My Attorney told me that he was hiring the best appeals attorney in the state. He was right. ... Catherine called me one time during the very long process of the appeal and I spoke to her one other time on my own. I was never charged for either call and she kept all correspondence to a minimum to save money. The appeal went my way and Catherine's argument was very reasonable. I would re-hire her absolutely.

very Intelligent and a wonderful lawyer

Ms Smith is so ...smart. She knows law deeply. She represent you with intensive reserch on case law. Her writing is laser sharp. I had a complicated case and it was messed up by my previous lawyer. Ms Smith fixed it up with sound argument and intensive backup. She does appeals court. But w...ill collaborate with superior court attorney.

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
