- Phil Wakefield graduated Cum Laude (top 4 percent) from Western Washington University, receiving Departmental and University honors, including a scholarship to study in France his junior year.
- Mr. Wakefield accepted a scholarship to the University of Puget Sound School of Law in Tacoma in 1989, and graduated in 1992, simultaneously restoring a 1946 40’ mahogany boat that he lived aboard for the next ten years.
- He immediately passed the Bar and opened a sole practice in Tacoma in 1993. He later moved the center of his practice to Seattle, then Greenwood, Lynnwood, and finally Everett. He has mentored many new lawyers over the last 20 years.
- Mr. Wakefield is a member in good standing of WACDL (Washington Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers) and WSBA (Washington State Bar Association).”
