Decent with good ideas

Mark handled the probate after my father's unexpected death. I was referred to him by the Snohomish County Legal referral service. He was very easy to work with though at times there seemed to be a delay in communication. Among all of the great advice he gave me was a plan to save my father's h...ouse from foreclosure so it remained in the family until the market picked back up as it was the only inheiratance my siblings or I would ever see and we needed to recoup some financial losses. He and his staff were professional and pleasant and did what they could to make a difficult time a little less stressful.

Estate planning lawyer | May 13

Relationship: Worked together on matter

"I endorse this lawyer. Mark Patterson is a strong advocate for a client to have in their corner. He is highly intelligent, and a skilled and experienced attorney. Moreover, his background in estate planning, trusts, and family law, and underlying Bachelors of Arts in Business enables him to provide a broader scope of counsel and representation than is typically found in any one attorney. In addition, people faced with estate litigation are often dealing with traumatic and life changing events and I have found Mark to be both kind and compassionate when working with his clients."

Relationship: Fellow lawyer in community

"I strongly endorse this lawyer. I have been referring people to attorney Mark Patterson for years, knowing they will receive excellent representation. He is always one of the attorneys mentioned whenever us local lawyers are asked for a referral to a good Snohomish County family law attorney. He is one of the best around."

Estate planning lawyer | Apr 23

Relationship: Fellow lawyer in community

"Mark and I were partners for 18 years. HIs intellectual curiosity regarding the law and his willing to keep abreast on current changes in the law has always been an inspiration. He zealously represents his clients while maintaining the highest ethical standards. He is well respected in the legal community in family law and estate planning matters. Mark is interested in solving problems, not creating them. I refer family members and friends to him on a regular basis. Any client would be well served by his representation."

Estate planning lawyer | Feb 16

Relationship: Fellow lawyer in community

"I endorse this lawyer. Mark is a brilliant lawyer who has been a mentor, colleague, and friend of mine for many years. He helped me through my own divorce, and his counsel was invaluable. I frequently refer clients to Mark because I know little about his areas of Legal Expertise (which are many), knowing he will represent them as ably as any lawyer would."

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
