Damon provided me the absolute best possible outcome in dealing with my ex-wife and her succession of attorneys in a very difficult divorce. Damon was able to get them returned to me under temporary custody and with dissolution, permanent custody. He also enabled me to keep our house, which was a bonus for the stability it provides. In addition, both he and his paralegal Asa always kept me informed on what was happening, what I could expect and were always responsive to my concerns through what was a very difficult process.

I hired Damon Canfield to represent me in the legal separation from my partner of 24+ years. He is an excellent attorney. He actually sits as Pro Tem Commissioner (judge) in the same courtrooms he argues ...cases in as a lawyer, so he is entirely at ease in the courtroom. His arguments are well prepared, well-spoken, precise and to the point. He steers the judge in a favorable legal direction. I retained Mr. Canfield for my attorney when my Ex stopped paying child support. I had gone several months without anything on my previous court order that was nearly 10 years old. I heard from his colleague, whom had done my living will, that Mr. Canfield was one of the best and therefore I decide...d to try him. Not only was Mr. Canfield aggressive and extremely competent but he has a fabulous disposition that makes him easy to talk to and understand (not intimidating to the one that hires him).
