After 2 1/2 years of my exhusband dragging his feet, his lawyer pushing unethical, and my former lawyer seemingly unable to do her job, I hired Christina. I was so grateful for her help. She was patient, sympathetic, and tenacious - exactly what I needed to FINALLY wrap up the fiasco that my divorce proceedings had become. I genuinely appreciate how (well) she handled my legal issues, while keeping me fully informed.
If I find myself in need of legal advice again, I will not hesitate to conctact Christina. I highly recommend her!
Compassionate, Highly Respected and Extremely Competent
Christina is an extraordinary family law attorney who handled my highly contentious and very complex divorce. At all times, she remained focused on the well being of my child and was highly committed to a residential plan that reflected her experience and deep understanding of what was most important for the psychological/emotional health of my child. Specifically, she guided through the process of reviewing and documenting issues and concerns that were highly relevant to the final residential plan. In addition, she was able to throughly and comprehensively review large sets of financial documents including forensic accounting and executed appropriate timely legal actions /briefs that ultimately led to a well considered property/financial settlement. She exercised sound and forward thinking with the understanding of legal precedents. I can not emphasize enough, the professionalism, the dedication and caring that she exhibited at all times through a period of over two years. I would recommend her unconditionally and with great trust.
Christina is an experienced attorney who brings a wealth of varied legal experience to her family law practice. She began her legal career working with child victims of abuse and neglect and returned to family law after practicing civil litigation with a large local firm for several years. "Working on large corporate cases was challenging and educational but I missed having that direct personal connection with my clients. I practice family law with a sincere motivation to help people in crisis."
Christina’s analytical and strategic approach to family law is a clear benefit for her clients. "I like to negotiate from a position of strength while always keeping an eye on the long term consequences litigation can have on a family. It's a delicate balance that requires a thoughtful approach."
Christina is currently taking Collaborative Law cases and conducting mediations for parties without attorneys. Call Christina for a consult to find out if Collaborative Law is the right fit for your divorce.

Best attorney ever!
In a very difficult situation I was uncomfortable to approach, I was lucky enough to find an attorney like Carol Bailey and Christina Smith. They made me feel comfortable in my situation and gave me support in my decision. They made ever effort to make the cost of my divorce as low as possible. The service I was provided was professional, informative and supportive. I always felt they had my best interest at heart. At the end of the day, I felt they stood behind me ever step of the way which I needed and appreciated. I would recommend them highly.
