Biography
I am a lifelong Seattle native, having graduated from the University of Washington in 1975. I attended Seattle University Law School and have been active in private practice for the past 37 years, having been a partner in a large Ballard law firm for approximately 20 years before establishing my current law firm with two former partners. Together, my partners, Jill Bliss, Rick Hart and I, have enjoyed practicing in the Northgate/Lake City area for the past 15 years.
While professional in our practice of law, our firm maintains a very comfortable and client-friendly environment wherein our staff operates as an integral and cost effective part of our team approach to practicing law.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending my time at my home on Useless Bay Golf Course on Whidbey Island. Between golf, travel, camping, fishing, and my children and grandchildren, I am kept busy and happy in my spare time.
Client relations are important to me in my work as a family law and personal injury lawyer. I understand the importance of each case to the individual involved and the need keep each client promptly informed in all aspects of their case.
I'm proud of the fact that many of my former clients have become long-time friends, long after their legal matters have been resolved. After 37 years of practicing law I still look forward to meeting new clients and addressing their unique legal challenges.
