I I met Lucas at a startup event, and I hired him to assist with the formation of my new company ( a C-Corp) shortly thereafter. What I really appreciate about Lucas and his work is that he very obviously cares about understanding his clients needs and tailoring his work to match that need. Compoun...ded with his obvious knowledge of the business / startup space, this makes him really effective at delivering what people actually need at the time they need it. As an example, being a first time entrepreneur, there was a lot of uncertainty around what I *actually* needed to get my business formed properly, legally, and set me up for future success. When I asked these questions of other lawyers prior to Lucas, they came back with a huge list of documents I ended up not needing, or came back with not nearly enough information for me to be able to act. When asked of Lucas, he asked me about what my business did, timelines, and ultimate goals for the company. Then he was able to layout the specific steps, documents, and milestones I'd need as well as why / when I'd need them based upon my own specifics. The other thing that makes working with Lucas easy is that he's *very* available. He always picked up the phone when I called. It wasn't uncommon to get responses back from him at 10-11pm at night, which was nice because I was also working at those times. I never really ended up waiting on him for an answer I needed to move forward. Lastly, I can tell Lucas takes a lot of pride in his work. He wants to make sure his clients get what they need from him, rather than just being a money-mill. I ask a lot of questions and spend more time trying to understand details than most (because that's just who I am), and he was willing to indulge me in that pursuit. Never once was he short or annoyed with me for asking a million questions. It was important to me to work with a lawyer who wasn't just a paper-pusher, but could offer me real guidance and advice. I'm sure my company is much better off because of his help. I highly recommend Lucas, and intend to use him again in the future.

I feel now protected and the safe bounds well defined, here the reasons why: - there where issues about estabiling boundaries for frictionless cooperation with the other competing parties. - the name of the competion is that each can move forward within its scope and the effort and skills are the o...nly aspects to success that is the right way - Mr. Michels helped set the DMCA wrt the Memnonics of the Assembler codes (INTEL, MICROCHIP, INTERSIL etc..) - Basically it is a situation that is interesting all use the word ADD per example and it belongs to the public domain dictionary, so the copyright applies not really on the word but rather on "the implied work they produced to implement it" - Most importantly is the concept of clarity that is the first step to have things finding ways that are helpful to all it was good to have Mr. Michels assist me basically in this moment all issues are now back to normal and sorted so all can be smooth. This is paramount for to be able to work in tranquility to have a safeguard where one can focus on the real work and yield and be protected Many "re-thanks" here and I am really glad now :)

Lucas is one of the few business professionals that have never disappointed. Very knowledgable , I have had questions about copyrights, intellectual propery, company policies, etc. At times I have even emailed him in the middle of the night or on the weekends when I have questions just so I don't for...get and he will respond in some manner...
