I spoke to Terry regarding my legal matter, she was attentive and showed great compassion and empathy during our brief phone call. I was completely lost and confused, she helped me understand my situation more clearly. I ultimately ended up retaining her for services and she has been the best to work... with. I'm surprised to see the review giving her 1 star, that certainly was not my experience but I also know that some people have extremely excessive expectations. I would definitely recommend her to help anyone with family law matters. Terry has been in the business 25 years plus and it shows! Had a phone consultation with Terry Zundel. I tried to provide the background of my case and asked questions that came across my situation. I sent her a list of my questions prior to the appointment and my divorce petition hoping to go over them during the consultation. But Terry was not friendly and... sounded unprofessional. She said "I don't know your case and you just need to response to the petition" and "I don't know your husband..". She didn't seem or intend to ask questions to learn about my situation. The first very question she asked during my consultation was my other pending case, and her attitude changed dramatically. As an immigrant who doesn't know any Family law, I wish to have a helpful attorney but I just didn't get that vibe from her. If you do not make a good impression and show compassion towards your client, how do you expect someone to hire you?

Terry Zundel is an exceptionally intelligent lawyer. She uses her pen like a sword and drafts the most succinct description of the facts. I am very grateful for the declarations and memorandums she wrote to present the truth before the Court. Her style of working with her clients 1:1 is very versatil...e. She has great strategies that she utilizes from her 25+ years of experience as a lawyer. Her style of working with and against the most twisted attorneys is remarkable. I have had to hear audio transcripts that got me to realize that, when she is in court, she is quick to think, she is somehow very calm, speaks slowly and clearly, yet she is very strong and assertive. She pays close attention to what the opposing counsel is stating, this allows her to catch various misrepresentations and raise objections as may be needed. I have not seen this with some other lawyers. She represents her clients with great zeal. She is obviously very busy and sometimes making an appointment with her can be a challenge. I recommend Terry especially if you are faced with difficult opposing party.

I hired an attorney out of Bellevue who was absolutely negligent bordering on complete incompetence. When my Ex-wife of 9 months found out I was filing for divorce, she called the police and had me kicked out of my own house, then filed a no contact order which kept me out of the house. I was remo...ved with nothing, not so much as an extra pair of underwear for almost a month., My attorney did absolutely nothing. She took my $10,000 retainers fee with no problem, but afterwords, she informed me she only worked 4 days a week and not to call her when she was out of the office. That was her personal time. Are you kidding me? Even worse, she went on vacation the next week while I am sitting around in my pajamas wondering if I will ever wear a clean set of clothes. Se didn't lift a finger to help me and all I heard out of her was there's nothing we can do, there;s nothing we can do. I didn't need to pay her $10,000 to tell me that. At one point I actually began to wonder if she and my ex wife were former friends or maybe related? I kid you not. While my attorney was off on her vacation, spending her new fortune, my ex wife was busy selling off everything I owned. When I told my attorney, guess what she said, "there is nothing we can do". I had never felt so low or helpless in all my life. Fortunately, i made the best decision i'd ever made, short of asking my wife for a a divorce, and I called Terry. As soon as i did, she swooped in like a superhero. It was like calling in cat woman. When Terry took over the tide completely changed. Now we were in charge and my ex was the one scrambling. Terry was by my side through the entire experience. She was available, helpful, calming, patient with me as I dealt with all the complex emotions that come with a divorce, the doubt and fear. She was incredible. She got rid of my ex for a pittance of what it would have cost if I would have stayed with the first attorney. I will never let anyone else handle my future divorces. Trust me when I tell you to look no further. Hire Terry, there's no one better.
