Wouldn’t recommend for arbitration—unless you enjoy spending thousands to debate summer vacation plans. We engaged Mr. Louden for what was supposed to be a straightforward arbitration about whether my daughter could go on a summer trip. Somehow, this relatively simple question ballooned into a ful...l-blown courtroom drama—minus the courtroom, rules of evidence, or a meaningful outcome. We were charged around $5,000 for an experience that felt more like a psychic reading than a legal process. Mr. Louden allowed—and sometimes seemed to invite—additional issues that weren’t even raised by the other party. These were not only outside the original scope, but in many cases, I wasn’t given an opportunity to respond to his concerns or speculations that were outside of either party’s submissions. The whole thing took a detour into analyzing texts and emails (almost all ChatGPT-assisted), which were treated with the gravity of ancient scrolls. Given my adhd, my pra At one point, he even suggested my daughter was psychologically scarred by these texts—despite the fact that her psychologist explicitly disagreed. I asked for the child and psychologist to be interviewed if mental health was going to be a factor, but that request was ignored. Instead, we went down a rabbit hole of speculation. Mr. Louden guessed at my motivations, my parenting, and my relationships—none of which I was ever asked to address. It felt like he was auditioning for a role on a psychic hotline rather than acting as a neutral arbitrator. Despite his strong reputation, I found him easily sidetracked, overly speculative, and surprisingly comfortable making sweeping conclusions based on subjective input. The process caused more emotional and financial strain than resolution, and in the end, much of it was contradicted by actual professionals with relevant expertise. If you’re looking for a focused, efficient arbitration process, I’d recommend looking elsewhere.

Michael is professional, knows the law and know how to explain it in laymans terms. Michael has a gentle, kind side which helps him understand the emotions of his clients, however this does not get in the way of him fighting for you and he can be aggressive when he needs to negotiate. He worked hard... for me and helped so much throughout the process of my divorce. He always had my best interests at heart and I would highly recommend him to anyone who has a family law issuel.
