Please do not hire Larry chin, I hired him for my son's assylum appeal case, I had a very hard time to get hold of him after he collected his fees. I called him several times for any updates, but he never returned my calls. Finally he told me that the case got denied and he had emailed me a copy of t...he Coourty decision. It was already too for another appeal. I felt I was betrayed and treated badly.

I chose Larry because when I called his office he answered and he was able to give me details and options on the phone before the actual consultation in his office. He was considerate enough to work with us on our tight budget. The only thing that made it frustrating at times was the communication vi...a email because sometimes I would only get emails that my husband wanted to be included in so we would have to forward eachother the missing pieces. The wait for our interview to be scheduled was very long but that was not Larry's fault. Larry was able to juggle our case and others by having his partner fill in on the day of the interview which we appreciated very much. Larry made it possible for us to obtain that green card even though we were a mix of emotions throughout this long legal process. It was a long journey and we are glad we had Larry on our side.

Larry has been assisting me, my friends and companies I recommended to him on multiple immigration issues, from F-1, H1B, OPT, STEM extension to greencard application. He has always shown patience in listening to the unique circumstances of each case, and provided the most conservative (being conserv...ative with the USCIS is a great thing) and best pathways for each scenario. Immigration issues are painful and arduous processes, where people, including myself, can feel really powerless and hopeless. Larry, with his expertise and patience, is an assuring voice in the sagas and I am glad that I retained him. He is a man of utmost integrity, unlike some immigration attorneys out there. I started my attorney search to do a naturalization application by picking 4-5 attorneys on Avvo. When I met with Larry I knew he was the guy. He spent over 45 unhurried minutes with me explaining everything and strategy, without collecting a single dime or trying to pitch me. When I eventually si...gned on, he offered a very fair fixed price, which included representation at the interview with CIS. Not only that, Larry even ate the credit card surcharge on the CIS fee, so that I could pay the entire thing by credit card and we would still have a check so I could know when CIS took my money. How many lawyers do you know that extend you credit at the initial consultation!! :) Throughout the process, Larry would always answer email in a reasonable time. Agree with prior reviewer about him being conservative. But I deducted one point on "Knowledgeable" because Larry didn't know about a minor form that could have caused a delay if CIS had asked for it (fortunately they didn't).
