In starting my own business, I've had a lot of documents to review that I don't have the expertise. I initially hired Jeff to review an NDA. Jeff provided prompt feedback to my questions using the comment features in MS Word, which I found very helpful. He also did a 1:1 call to review the docume...nt. Importantly, he also provided guidance to help me when reviewing similar documents in the future as well as answering tangential business law questions. I've since hired him to help in some of the other legal business paperwork. His advice on contracts has been very useful to help discern when to decline a contract. It's difficult to say 'no' to a contract early in a business venture. However, I've found myself better off for sticking with his advice and declining work when the other party is not willing to address the concerns he raised.

I consulted with Jeff for estate planning. Jeff is a pleasure to work with- approachable, friendly, good at understanding my particular goals and needs, knowledgeable and has helpful suggestions. After reading several reviews and having at least two other consultation meetings with attorneys to help us with our estate planning needs (e.g. a revocable living trust, wills for me and my wife, health directives, etc.), we went with Jeff due to his immediate grasp of our situation and his sensible... approach (i.e. he provided us with our options, as well as a recommendation--we never felt he was trying to 'up-sell' us--which was a vibe we got from other attorneys). We have a complex situation (e.g. a couple LLCs, rental properties, kids from previous marriage, etc.) and Jeff was able to propose approaches that addressed our situation. Perhaps most importantly, Jeff was incredibly patient and helpful in answering our questions about the specific (if not arcane) legal terms, tax mitigation approaches, etc. that were part of the process. He was thorough and professional while being friendly and approachable. We never felt rushed through the process and felt we received very good value for the price he charged. With Jeff, we feel like we've found "our attorney" we can go to for future legal needs.

Jeff prepared my will, power of attorney, and other related documents. I had some unique questions in my will related to business ownership and he was able to discuss trade-offs with me to come up with a good strategy. Had a personal deadline coming up, and needed the documents and revisions done in ...a short time frame, and Jeff was very accessible and made it happen. A pleasure to work with!
