I'm a busy professional who has been putting off estate planning for many years. This year I finally decided to go through with it. I chose Jeff because he a) had online booking options, b) was willing to do video calls, and c) charged for the consultation and credits it against his total flat fe...e (I've had many "free" consultations and I now believe that good attorneys should value their time). Jeff explained things very well, was fast and efficient, and even came to my office downtown to notarize and finalize the documents. He outlined the pros and cons of various choices. After reading several reviews and having at least two other consultation meetings with attorneys to help us with our estate planning needs (e.g. a revocable living trust, wills for me and my wife, health directives, etc.), we went with Jeff due to his immediate grasp of our situation and his sensible... approach (i.e. he provided us with our options, as well as a recommendation--we never felt he was trying to 'up-sell' us--which was a vibe we got from other attorneys). We have a complex situation (e.g. a couple LLCs, rental properties, kids from previous marriage, etc.) and Jeff was able to propose approaches that addressed our situation. Perhaps most importantly, Jeff was incredibly patient and helpful in answering our questions about the specific (if not arcane) legal terms, tax mitigation approaches, etc. that were part of the process. He was thorough and professional while being friendly and approachable. We never felt rushed through the process and felt we received very good value for the price he charged.
