Mr. Liang represented us in a Tax dispute with the IRS. The IRS was denying our claim of an unfamiliar section of the tax code pertaining to real estate activities. A majority of the IRS agents we dealt with were unfamiliar with this section of the code, but did not hesitate to deny our claims. ... I cannot begin to explain how valuable Mr. Liang's representation was to us! Our 2 previous Enrolled Agents were no match against the IRS. When Mr. Liang took over our case, he immediately put us at ease with his knowledge and plan to deal with the IRS. There were numerous outstanding arguments that the IRS had with our return. All were resolved. Some with previous case history. Some of the arguments the IRS was making were based on incorrect code that was very difficult to track down. And others were retroactively solved with a filing. Mr. Laing was always very well prepared and successfully dealt with every one of the IRS arguments. After 2 years of dispute (only the last year with Mr. Liang) and escalating the case to the Chief Counsel with the US Tax Court, Mr. Liang persuaded the IRS to completely drop the case on ALL the disputed portions of our return. I can't begin to explain the value of Mr. Liang's representation. He is very knowledgeable. He stayed in very close contact and responded promptly. He worked very hard and thoroughly researched any uncertainties. The best way to put this is that he argued successfully a section of the IRS code that based on my research usually did not have a successful outcome. My wife and I could not be more happy with Mr. Liang's service. I would not only recommend Mr. Liang to anyone but I would not use another attorney for anything that would fall within Mr. Liang's expertise.
