Mr. Cohen ignore critical evidence in our sons case. Mr. Cohen won’t listen to us, He made statements that the State Prosecutors were playing hard ball, but would be forced to drop specific untrue allegations. That didn’t happen, instead Mr. Cohen gave the case to the Wa. State Prosecutors, like... a hidden score game. He didn’t fight as he promised. He was lame in the courtroom. Mr. Cohen stated, he’d “fall on the sword” in our sons defense, He landed in the hospital, a couple times, but not by a sword injury. Mr. Cohen called us foul names repeatedly, very rude and disrespectful. We became frightened of him, but he said we couldn’t fire him as the judge would dismiss our motion request. Our son is innocent by unheard evidence, yet is spending his lifetime in prison. Mr. Cohen doesn’t care he failed justice and the real perpetrator(s) are in our streets.

I've hired Mr. Cohen based on the reviews. It was my biggest mistake of my life. He ignored all evidence, including the polygraph test results. The deal he made with the prosecutor put me in jail for many months, cost me a lot's of money (all my retirement saving) and causing trauma even in these day...s. I still know that I have not committed any crime. I’ve trusted him at that time but he failed miserably to proof my innocence.

I was falsely accused and charged with a crime last summer - I have never committed a crime and don’t even have a recent speeding ticket. From the very start, Jeff made himself available at all times, and worked tirelessly to defend me, both from the criminal charges and the CPS investigation. He lef...t no stone unturned, interviewing every witness, noticing all the inconsistencies in the stories, not to mention the numerous procedural errors made by police and prosecutors. While the prosecutor made no effort to investigate or resolve the case, Jeff hired an investigator who located key pieces of evidence to support my defense. His attention to detail and his ability to retain crucial details was phenomenal. He always knew exactly what mattered and why. He’s also extremely perceptive about people. There was a lot of frustration as the case dragged on, through no fault of his, but Jeff took care to make sure I didn’t cave and plead to something I hadn’t done, which I was certainly considering just in the interest of ending the nightmare. In the end, my case was dismissed. I can’t imagine having gone through it with any other lawyer representing me - in spite of the intense stress of the situation, I was confident in his judgement every step of the way.

Jeffrey lived up to every bit of his stellar reputation. He was extremely professional, straight forward and set clear expectations through the entire process. He made himself available to me 24/7 to answer any questions I had. He went above and beyond through my entire case to ensure that we were... ahead of the prosecution every step of the way. Which ultimately lead to a dismissal in my case. I am also extremely confident had it gone to trial that we would have won hands down. I usually don't write reviews, but felt compelled to tell others about my exceptional experience with Jeffrey.

I was accused falsely of a very serious crime over 20 years ago and charged. i HAD NEVER been charged with a crime in my life, no criminal history. I could have spent up to 20 years in prison, but he fought for me every step of the way believing in my innocence, he went above and beyond what was exp...ected of him as a criminal defense lawyer. In a world of lawyers who dont take their job to defend their clients very seriously Jeff Cohen took his job very seriously in getting to the bottom of the truth and using his expertise to defend my rights. It is very hard to overcome charges in the state of Washington where some lawyers are afraid to advocate for their clients and defend their rights but Jeff Cohen defended my rights with the knowledge he had of the law. I was exonerated and found not guilty. He confronted police in court with their unethical behavior and fought for my rights wanting to see justice prevail which it was. I was exonerated of all charges and cleared after 3 months. I have a friend who is going through an unjust situation in the justice system that is not quite the same as mine but she has not had the priveldge of of good legal counsel and has endured over a year and a half of misery fighting an uphill legal battle and gone through 2 lawyers that have not done much for her case. She has had to do all the work and she has always been through too much unable to to it herself. I only wish i had known of her legal dilema before she hired these 2 lawyers who have not done anything for her. She had the same offers recently that she had from the start without any improvement in her case. If she had Jeff Cohen this case would been resolved favorably a long time ago as he would have gotten to the bottom of this right away. Thank you Jeff for saving my life.
