Jay Kinney was born in Rochester New York in 1957. He obtained his B.A. from the University of Texas in 1980 and his J.D. from the University of Texas in 1983. He was admitted to the bar in the state of Washington in 1984. Jay is a member of the Washington State Bar Association, the American Association for Justice and the Washington State Association for Justice. Mr. Kinney’s practice emphasizes worker’s compensation, personal injury, construction site accidents and employment law.
Jay is married with three children.
“I worked my way though college and law school as a carpenter, back when you could actually earn enough in the summer to pay for a year of college. I still use my tools on home and community projects. I know my way around a job site, and realize the physical demands of occupations such as construction, manufacturing, logging, fishing and processing, nursing and driving/delivery.”
