Dedicated, personable lawyer who will fight for you

An investigation into a decades-old issue threatened my military career just prior to retirement. I retained Jason's services when personnel command began the ADSEP process on very short notice, even after an initial finding of No-Action by the first flag officer in my chain of command. They offe...red me the chance to resign in lieu of board proceedings, and I was really at a loss. I had never dealt with anything like this. I called Jason, he was simply amazing. He was pretty dumbfounded as to what was being done to me, and found it an egregious overreach. I finally felt like I had some modicum of control over the situation and someone on my side. With only the basics of my story to go on, Jason immediately engaged personnel command, got an extension on the response deadline, and indicated that we would prefer to go to a board of inquiry with my side of the story. Jason seemed to know pretty much everyone involved with this process, and he dealt with them in a firm, professional, and cordial manner. It was one of the most stressful periods of my life. I had never been in any sort of trouble in what I thought was a pretty good career. Jason told me that he was my lawyer and not much of a mental health counselor, but I say that's not entirely true, as discussing the issue and case with him and having him on my side helped my mental outlook tremendously. We talked about the case extensively. After digesting the facts of the case, he prepared a detailed, nuanced letter to the board that fully explained my side of the story, highlighted my trouble-free career and personal life, and submitted it on my behalf. Several stressful weeks went by. Then, the phone call came in from personnel command. The board met. I was retained, and my case was closed. An amazing result that I don't think would have happened without Jason's help. Later, I was able to retire successfully with an honorable discharge.

Coast Guard Administrative Separation

Simply put Jason is the best friend you hope you never need. He will work quickly and efficiently on whatever you hire him for. You will receive the most favorable outcome only due to his hard work and proficiency in military law. During my time with Jason he spent many nights working late on my case.... I had very limited time to prepare a case. The “cards” were not in my favor. I was facing ADSEP and I was on my way out of the service. I contacted Jason and he managed to tip the scales just enough to give a chance that had hope for a positive outcome, the best chance I ever had for success.

Very knowledgeable and caring

I had a great experience with Jason Greene. When I approached him with a situation that I was dealing with, he was attentive to me and was very professional and knowledgeable. Not only did he go out of his way to find the answers and solution to my situation, he offered advice as to what I could do a...nd what the possible outcome could be. Doing this, he put me more at ease and I felt that if I would have not contacted him I would have been worse off. When it comes to military law, I hold him in high regards to the area of specialty as well as to how hard working he is for his clients. Overall, Jason in my eyes is top notch and is an asset to anyone that uses him for any news related to his area of specialty.

Highly recommend Jason for Army BOI. He was superb during trial and worked very hard to prepare for the BOI. Result: I was RETAINED to continue my career in the Army. Excellent Attorney

Don’t let the few reviews fool you, Jason Greene is a highly experienced attorney. Every case is unique and mine was no different. Starting from an allegation that resulted in an investigation, which turned into a Field Grade Article 15, and led to a Summary Court Martial, I had spoken to many differ...ent attorneys beforehand. I spoke with Jason and he had the confidence that the others didn’t. I hired him right before the investigation had closed and I am glad that I did. I spoke with a TDS attorney, they had told me to just take the Article 15 and be done with it. I had many conference calls with Jason and Stephen Carpenter before turning down the Article 15. I feel that I made the right choice. That’s when the ball started to roll and turned into a Court Martial. The government had the cards stacked against us, but Jason had pushed back. The government had wanted the trial to happen as soon as possible, Jason requested a reasonable delay. That gave him time to speak with witnesses and get a clear picture of the situation. He also requested the government to elaborate on a relatively vague charge. The government responded initially unfairly, but Jason had objected and the government had corrected the response. Trial day had come and Jason knocked it out of the park with cross examination. The key government witness’s story had changed when Jason had brought up a strong point. It led to the witness admitting that there was never unfairness that occurred. This created a very reasonable argument when other witnesses had testified as well. Once the defense rested, I had a good gut feeling. Jason had done an outstanding job not just in the courtroom, but the previous months leading up to the trial as well. When the verdict was reached, it was a full acquittal of both charges. Hiring Jason Greene was the best decision I made. I can honestly say that even if you think you are screwed, Jason will work hard to fight for you.
