Franni really was helpful during a very difficult time. They say the devil is in the details and she and her staff were all about the little things without losing sight of the big picture. Fortunately, I believe my case was simple and she was able to handle it no problem. She was kind enough to meet ...me without an appointment once. If I were to find a fault I would say that the receptionist staff outside Franni's office are not very helpful. I had no idea where I was to drop off some papers and one receptionist was very irritated that I was even there. Yes, I did not know what I was doing and the receptionist may have been having a bad day. But where is the courtesy? Anyhow, don't let those negative people lead you away from Franni's services. She is a consummate lawyer in every way. Should I need her again I would not hesitate.

I did some homework prior to hiring Franni, and one of the best advises on the web was "do NOT hire a hawk". Getting into letter battles with the opposing party's lawyer will have zero impact on your case, and only deplete your bank account. Franni raised to my expectations: - she did not prete...nd to be my therapist. While the temptation is there for you as a client to talk more than necessary about your problems, what impressed me was that she actually did not encourage me to waste money on unnecessary, billable conversations. That showed tremendous professional integrity IMO - she did not get into letter/email battles with the opposing party. Few realize that the "inter-lawyer chatter" is almost never useful, unless negotiating a settlement. I am no expert, so you decide for yourself... - she knows how stressful a divorce can be, and seems to find the right balance between humanity and cool-headed professionalism. - she thinks about you and your finances BUT she does not loose sight of the most important issue, the kid(s). It is all too easy to forget about the real victims, and Franni seems to really be in the FAMILY law business, vs the multi-billion divorce industry. - she seems to know her field very well. My case was not that complicated, so one data point is not enough, but that is my personal observation based on some online research. To sum it up, yes, I would recommend Franni to a friend in need (not that I wish any of my friends to need her services in the same area I did :o)

I visited Frannie for legal advice regarding my parenting plan. I could not have been more surprised and impressed by her insight, warmth and grasp of what is inherently best for children. I have had Frances Turean represent me twice in court and once in mediation and she did great. She did not lose in court! She is a very intelligent woman who knows her work as a lawyer well. When she prepares the declarations and such for court they are always very well put together and very neat and... orderly.
