Great lawyer

Brett has been very helpful with a wide variety of situations, but especially with contract negotiations and dispute resolutions. Regarding disputes, he is always very well prepared and has a knack for being firm without burning bridges with the other party. As a litigator, he has a good handle o...n what will or won't stand up in court, so we are always able to realistically assess our risks. Regarding negotiations, he is adept at adding protective language without killing the deal. He knows what's worth fighting for and what you can just let go. His fees are always reasonable without a bunch of fluff, and he's easy to work with.

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
