I grew up in Seattle, attended parochial schools and graduated from the University of Washington. I have four adult children, three daughters and a son, all of whom are the light of my life.
I enjoy reading, family dinners, sports, poker, motorcycles and anything "that's out there." I took cooking lessons, on a whim, so I can bake, cook and BBQ with the best. I also took a stand up comedy class; graduation was a one-man show at Giggles Comedy Club. The class proved that graduating doesn't necessarily make you funny.
I have enthusiastically coached high school and college softball for the last 16 years, and I continue to play softball on different teams.
I have concentrated my practice in family law for 30+ years because I enjoy helping people and know that I can make a difference. Here's what I do in the area of family law: divorce, parenting, visitation, custody, relocation. highly contested cases, paternity along with wills and personal injury.
My office is located in downtown Seattle in the Colman Building at 811 First Avenue, Suite 100, Seattle (between Columbia and Marion on 1st Avenue).

"I have known Rod Pierce for twenty years. Initially we were opposing lawyers in divorce cases. I soon realized Rod is a thorough, hard working talented lawyer. Although he is a fearless tough opponent, he is professionally courteous while providing top notch representation to his client. Through mutual respect and passion for fastpitch softball we became friends. My practice changed to personal injury, and Rod and I have worked a significant personal injury case together. My high regard for his legal ability and professionalism has increased from working together with him.I continue to refer cases to Rod and I look forward to working with him again in the future. Rod Pierce is a quality person and a great lawyer."
