I founded the Nolan Lim Law Firm because I grew frustrated seeing companies oppress and exploit ethical workers who work hard, stand up for equality, and legal rights in the workplace.  In my many years as an employment attorney I witnessed many times both personally and professionally where “anti-harassment policies”, and “diversity and inclusion”, are just words that corporations and government institutions use to mask discrimination and retaliation against those who stand up for compliance with workplace laws.

My clients drive me forward every day. It’s an honor to help victims of illegal workplace activity to move past their trauma and have their dignity and self-worth restored, while holding the offending employer accountable.”

I felt well represented.
Nolan and George were tremendous help for my case. I found it incredibly difficult to find an attorney that would take on a large government entity and put in the work and attention to detail to prevail. I felt well represented and the case details were well understood by Nolan's team.

Outstanding Attorney
I learned about Nolan from another attorney in Seattle. I had no idea how to start the EEO process, what to do during the process, or even what my options were, if any. Nolan is so easy to talk to and breaks everything down for you. He involves you every step of the way he’s fair and honest. I have given his name to several of my friends and will not hesitate to call him if I need him in the future.

THE BEST!!!
Nolan went above and beyond to fight for my case. I had full confidence in his abilities and knowledge of the process. He was considerate of my feelings through out the whole process and very attentive to my needs. I highy recommend him!

Beware & Manage Him
I have had other attorneys and Mr. Lim did the poorest work. The other attorney practiced less than 5 years. Nolan has been an attorney for around 15 years, but he boasts that he takes his client’s case all the way to court. This is insight from my experience. 1. He has only about 5-years experience doing that and he would not provide the number of cases he led and how many settled favorably or were won. 2. He called me a lot. Out of the blue, often for night and weekend calls. 3. He vented and shared a lot of information that was not to my benefit and was him venting. He sort of made buddies with me to draw me in and distract me from him not making deadlines. 4. Because of item 3, he essentially treated me like a paralegal and had me draft a great deal of material. Because of his frequent calls, he got to bill me anyway. In my mind, you hire and pay an attorney to feel safer, more secure and sleep at night because I’m paying a specialist. I feel poorer in every sense after having Mr. Lim represent me. Deadlines and objectives were not met, he talked to me way toooo much with no benefit. If you hire this attorney, check each fee agreement very carefully, I recommend you inform him of your communication style and boundaries for venting by phone, and insist he fwd work product immediately so you can “trust” but verify.
