Professional Negligence

I consulted Mr. Carew regarding the question of professional negligence of a provider involved in the sale of a yacht. I had no idea what information I would need in order to consider proceeding with a lawsuit. Mr. Carew took his time, gave me his genuine interest and his competent knowledge in te...lling me the options and pitfalls to keep in mind as well as what the next steps could be. At the end of the consultation I had a clear understanding of my next steps and the general structure of legal recourse.

Outstanding Lawyer

Very well versed in the subject matter associated with my case. Worked well interfacing with opposing counsel. Did an excellent job keeping me informed of the process, what the next step to expect, and answering my questions in language I could understand. Worked very hard and diligently to repres...ent my interests and obtain a fair and just settlement. Exhibited high qualities of integrity.

The best maritime lawyer

I was a client of Shane's . He helped me regarding a maritime lien. He did not charge me but helped me so I could do it on my own. He was gracious and generous

Excellent experience all around

Mr. Carew assisted me with an employment law dispute over the last 2 months. Throughout the process I was kept informed of updates and always felt I was up to date on my case. His candor was especially reassuring.

Relationship: Fellow lawyer in community

"Shane Carew is the epitome of a diligent and highly trustworthy lawyer. I have known Mr. Carew professionally for over 22 years, and can highly recommend him to anyone having need for an attorney with legal issues that fall within his areas of practice. Mr. Carew has an outstanding reputation in the maritime community for his legal representation of a variety of admiralty law clients including vessel owners, vessel officers, crewmen, crewman’s families, and other maritime businesses. Shane has had many past maritime decisions (both trial and appellate) reported and printed in the appropriate legal journals. He has many years of experience performing the arrest and sale of vessels under federal maritime law. Shane's level of preparation and his ability to evaluate and dissect complex legal issues is second to none. Mr. Carew is always fair and scrupulous in dealing with his clients and works hard to reach a just result for each of them."
