I am a partner at Hanis Irvine Prothero, PLLC. I assist people with estate planning, probate, real estate, and business transactions. This includes matters related to Wills, Trusts, Power of Attorney, administration of estates and trusts, guardianships, real estate transactions, boundary disputes and related issues.
Due to my litigation/arbitration/mediation experience, I am called upon to assist clients in a variety of matters. I am result oriented and find great pleasure when clients reach their legal goals quickly and efficiently. When a fair resolution cannot be achieved, I fight for my clients to achieve the most beneficial result possible. I have extensive experience in Superior courts, including trials, mediations, and arbitrations.

Why did I procrastinate for so long?
Pat Hanis was exceptional and exceeded my expectations - I can't recommend him high enough! I realize now that my procrastination was not unusual - after all, a final will and testament embraces the truths about mortality and are big ticket items. But Pat took the time to clearly and succinctly expla...

I met his assistant, Steven and the lines of communication were responsive, fast and affordable. I highly recommend this law firm for wills, p...

Simple will
Even though I just had a simple will done. Patrick treated it like the most important document he was working on at the time. His staff was friendly, patient, and quick to respond to my emails. He explained everything clearly to me and made sure everyone was satisfied with the final will.

Knowledgeable & Easy to Work With
My wife and I recently had our first daughter and decided to have a will drafted up. Patrick was the first attorney I reached out to after seeing he is involved in local organizations and lives just down the road from us. I was impressed enough after our first meeting that I had no desire to consult ...

Patrick came from a referral from our financial advisor. We wanted a solid estate planning attorney to help us get our affairs in order. What we got was a solid professional, a great listener who asked great questions and someone who provided very clear and effective education about our options and t...
"I've been working with Pat on a daily basis for the past five years. He is hard-working, thorough, well-prepared, and a very strong trial lawyer. Communication with his clients is very important to Pat. He is also very involved in the community and has a great sense of humor."
"Although I'm a little prejudiced (notice our last names), this is genuinely one of the brightest young negotiators/litigators I have ever known. Absolute loyalty to his clients. Goes well beyond the call of duty in his representation."

After trial, the court ruled in favor of my client, and required the brother to reimburse my clients' attorneys fees and costs.
Court found in favor of my client that the neighbors interpretation of the easement was incorrect, and that the trees removed were not unlawfully cut.
