Our agency used Mike, and others, in handling a very complex long term contract negotiation between a couple dozen potential parties. The planning period for the negotiation took more than a decade. The contract itself took a few years. During this time period I found Mike to be highly skilled and adept at identifying troublespots and areas where issues needed to be clarified in the contract. His professionalism and demeanor was valuable in setting a positive atmosphere for the negotiations and ultimately achieving a successful outcome. We were extremely pleased with the quality and timeliness of his legal effort, and the success that he helped us achieve.

I consider Mike Hanis to be "the" best attorney I have ever worked with. Besides his years of experience with the judiciary system his approach to a problematic situation is irrefutably methodical, organized and concise.
I appreciate Mike's sense of candor while maintaining a high level of professionalism. I highly recommend Michael Hanis for any one in need of an attorney.

I have worked with Mike for over 25 years through my employment with 2 different entities. He is knowledgable, ethical, congenial and compassionate. I have highly recommended Mike and his firm to others, both professionally and personally.
Colette Kostelec, Land use and zoning Attorney
Relationship: Worked together on matter
Mike is the general counsel for a water & sewer district that I represented on a complex litigation case. Mike protected his client's interests diligently and I very much appreciated his responsiveness and insightful comments during the litigation. Highly recommended.
