Molly B. Kenny

Assume dissolution is not a one size fits all so this recommendation is based on my circumstances. For my reasons, chose to dissolve an almost 3 decades of marriage, which I was the sole provider. My two priorities from a legal counsel: 1) harassment protection during the separation process and... 2) just fair treatment / application of WA state laws. Molly and her team (from assistant, paralegals and Jim the new counsel) guided me objectively thru this process, despite some undesirable distractions from the other party. Felt protected during the process, which allowed me to focus on my work and enjoy most of my time off. The mediation outcome proved to be a win-win for both parties. Without doubt highly recommend Molly and her talented team to anyone (men or women) to represent you during a difficult transition period. Light is at the end of that tunnel, grab it.

I guess it goes without saying that family law disputes are difficult. It is also true that there are a lot of attorneys practicing in this area, but not all are that good despite their ratings. Molly is that good. She knows the law and is very savvy. No one really "wins" when you have to settle ...a matter in court but I can tell you absolutely that she cleaned the clock of our opponent. Her arguments were precise, the judge believed her and she uncannily was able to impeach the testimony of our opponent by showing they either didn't do their homework or contradicted written records and/or testimony. Lastly, she is just a good person. We enjoyed working with her.

Molly is great! She helped me get through a difficult divorce. Guided me with assurance and helped me see the "process" as just that, "a process". Her staff was always available and friendly. I never had to wait more than a few hours for a response, whether it was an e-mail or phone call. I alwa...ys felt like I was in good hands - she's a fighter and doesn't get intimated by opposing counsel - no matter who it might be!!!

Ms. Kenny knows the system but I think she is primarily trying to make as much money as possible. My impression is that she focuses on the higher profile clients (deeper pockets) and moves the lower profile clients to others in her office. Meanwhile the $350 per hour meter keeps running. Divorce is a... stressful enough time without feeling neglect from your counsel. Through this neglect I ended up with an extremely large legal bill, and the exact same outcome as that determined at the temporary orders hearing 4 weeks in to the process. Even though the divorce process took over a year nothing was accomplished other than an ever mounting bill which was heading toward $100,000. The system is what the system is - save yourself money and use someone $250 an hour instead. The outcome will be similar and your bill will be much smaller in the end. Very disappointing.

Molly and her staff supported me completely through a drawn out divorrce. My ex and his lawyer did everything they could to bleed me dry and drag the proceedings out. Of course, not everything went my way, and Molly told me in advance what the courts typically did in my situation. Every thing she ...advised me of was right on the money, as far as what the court did. That experience was invaluable. Molly is extremely compassionate and professional. I highly recommend Molly.
