Todd DeVallance is a true credit to his profession! He is an honest, diligent, compasionate, human being!
Todd took over my case after I had agreed to a very objectionable temporary parenting plan, having followed what turns out to be very bad advice from my previous attorney. Todd was very honest and straightforward regarding my chances of changing the temporary plan and the costs associated with this. He listened to my concerns with much attention and empathy. Unlike my previous attorney, he was not dismissive of my concerns regarding my daughter’s well being. In court, Todd was to the point, concise, efficient, and respectful of his time allocation, a point not lost on the magistrate. Todd was always very responsive, and kept in constant contact. I made several panicked calls to him and while he could not always call back right that moment, he would at a minimum send a quick email. It was very reassuring to receive an immediate response letting me know he would call me the following day to discuss my concerns. Todd is a very fair and scrupulous person, his integrity is uncompromising. I always trusted his advice without question. He was never one to mislead or give vague answers to make the case drag on, thus racking up higher fees. I will be eternally grateful to Todd for his hard work on my case! Thank you Todd, you were a lifesaver! MLR

Thank you Todd
Todd DeVallance, his law firm and his team of lawyers and staff are top notch. Communication was great. If I was falling behind on a deadline, they would let me know. If I needed to speak with someone, I was able to easily set up an appointment in a timely manner. If I emailed him, my emails were also returned quickly. If he was stuck in trial on another case and couldn't respond right away, they would let me know ahead of time. My case was not an easy case. I had lots of cards stacked against me. Considering my difficult situation, I know that I got a better than fair outcome. I am very appreciative. Thank you specifically Todd, Stockton and Vanessa!!

High competent with integrity
I’ve worked with several and interviewed about a dozen lawyers, and yet have found Todd to be the most capable, concise and most importantly a great counsel. I have seen him take lead during mediation due to his experience, time management and organizational skills combined with his intellect and calm demeanor that results in successful mediations. I have had him for three years, and throughout he has shown himself to be highly responsive, effective in his use of time, and is fair with costs. I have recommended Todd to my closest friends, and will continue to do so. Through the tough times, he has been more than a lawyer, but a wise counsel with integrity. Just the lawyer, counsel, and friend you need.

Highly recommend Todd for domestic violence victims seeking divorce
I retained Todd to divorce me from a very manipulative narcissistic abusive person. Todd is an incredible honest strong lawyer. He saw the gaslighting and manipulation right away and fought hard for me. He is fair, gives great advice and what outcomes to expect, and very quick to respond to questions or concerns I had. he looked out for my best interest. After my first hearing (one of many) I knew I was in great hands and trusted Todd completely from that point on, including all the times we had to go back to court cause my ex was relentless. Todd stood up for me, saw through the manipulative narcissistic ex husband and all his bs and fought hard for me! If it wasnt for Todd representing me, I probably wouldve gave up or went back because it was too overwhelming to deal with my ex's manipulations and the mind games. He helped me through all of it and kept me stronger than i could have been on my own. It was the hardest months of my life going through that divorce process. I was drained emotionally and mentally. It felt like it was never going to end. Here I am a year later after divorce , extremely thankful and grateful and forever will be for Todd

A Professional of high caliber
Todd has been a superb counselor and Attorney. My case ran for over a year and he stood by me all the way through a complex divorce case. His presentation at Trial was well thought out and communicated firmly with obvious knowledge of the facts of the case and the law that applied to them.

Todd is first and foremost, a great person. He always made time to speak with me, was patient, kind, full of grace and compassion, and worked tirelessly to help me through a very difficult situation, to the best possible resolution. I appreciated his honesty and work ethic. I recommend him 100%.

Your spouse wants a divorce, now what?
I was crushed, I wasn't prepared for my wife saying she did not think our marriage could be fixed. I was in shock, but when you hear those words, get yourself an attorney! Most important, get yourself a great attorney. Todd DeVallance, and the team at Tsai Law, are second to none. Todd understood how freaked out I was, and I had so many questions, but Todd never seem bothered, was always patient and reassuring. Most important, he got the absolute best settlement via mediation possible. Divorce is expensive, make sure you have expert on your side...hire Todd DeVallance!

A well knowledgeable divorce lawyer.
A very helpful divorce lawyer, giving advice what needs to be done. Advice you the outcome. Guide me whatever needed to resolve the case in a timely manner. A nasty divorce came out positive on my part. Plaintiff bothered me for 10 years on which my lawyer helped me for just a few fees on the process. The nasty divorce that bothers me for 10 years results to be positive on my part.

Excellent advocate
As many reviews state, Todd has been an advocate for me when I needed it the most. I was facing a difficult divorce. He was always respectful of me AND opposing counsel. Respect was paramount to me as, previous to hiring Todd, other attorneys had been dismissive and uninvolved. Divorce in a long marriage such as mine was frightening and emotionally draining. Step by step, he answered my questions thoroughly and patiently. He has been a steadfast negotiator, firm but respectful to opposing counsel. Todd was also conscientious with his time, so that I was not billed for long conversations or unnecessary research hours. I was very happy with the final outcome in mediation. I would highly recommend Mr. DeVallance.

God send attorney for fathers
Todd has represented me in a very difficult, divorce lawsuit that has been ongoing for two years. He is honest, ethical, obsessive/compulsive, and extremely knowledgeable. He has acted as counselor, friend, and lawyer for me during an extremely difficult time. My case could go all the way to trial where Todd could have out-performed the opposing attorney in every way imaginable. My case ended with a reasonable decision for me. I believe that Todd would have kept my case from going two years if the opposing attorneys had been ethical or reasonable. Ex changed attorneys three times and brought same false allegations each time. I made a mistake hiring an inexperience lawyer at first and she failed to make timely motions. I was very fortunate to find Todd and he truly held on my hands entire time as my brother and attorney. He is a honorable person and lawyer. He represents the legal system in a positive way and is truly an outstanding "officer of the court".

Excellent Divorce Lawyer
I am extremely impressed and satisfied with the services that Todd has provided for me, while going through such a difficult process in my life. Todd was very responsive and helpful in my time of need. Todd was available to answer any questions that I had, either directly or by email, whenever I needed assistance. Although I was going through such a difficult time in my life, Todd and his team of associates were there for me, in answering any questions or concerns that I had and making sure that all of my needs were met. Todd and his team were very sympathetic to my case and provided me the hard work and dedication that was needed for a successful outcome. I highly recommend the services of Todd DeVallance if you are in the need for an outstanding divorce lawyer.

Very happy client
Todd came highly recommended to me by a friend and I’m so happy I was referred to him. He’s extremely responsive and was able to finalize my divorce in a few weeks, after it had been stalled for months with no communication with another attorney. He’s a true professional and really made me feel secure in knowing he had my back.

Veteran Advocate
As a former military member I sought an attorney who could empathize with my particular needs. Someone who understands my perspective and shares similar life experiences. Without a doubt I made the very best choice possible. Todd and his capable staff handled my entire case with dignity and grace, leaving only the opposition wanting more.

A difficult divorce
If you're reading my review you are probably looking for a divorce attorney that can help you. I also read reviews and that's how I found Todd DeVallance. When I met Todd it was on a Sunday morning in the middle of summer when his building was closed and only security could unlock the doors the elevators needed to be started and the air conditioning was off. What impressed me was that Todd was not a 9-5 attorney who looked at my case to bill like inventory. The fact that meeting me on a weekend when most attorneys would wait till their next "business" day to meet you, impressed me. Through out my divorce Todd was there for me. My divorce was a very difficult one and my ex would play legal games running up my bill. He could financially afford to play these legal games and left me without funds to keep fighting. Most attorneys would have dropped me since I was unable to pay. Todd did not abandoned me and was able to convince a judge to grant us the money from my ex for my legal fees. These are just a couple of examples of Todd. There were many other positive things he did through out my case. I've been around other lawyers but they are not like Todd. He's always polite honest and I found him funny at times which you need a good laugh through a hard time in your life. I know that I will call Todd DeVallance if I need future legal help. I highly recommend him to you. I don't think he will disappoint.

Exceptional Service
Todd represented me as the petitioner in a divorce case that went to trial. We had a mutual goal for a reasonable settlement with my best interests in mind. He did an excellent job of representing me and my settlement was even better than what I expected. Todd has enough court experience to read cues from the judge & deliver an argument the way a judge wants to hear it. He didn't waste my time or the courts on trivial details that wouldn't impact the case or affect the judges ruling. Todd is considerate & genuine and I never felt that this was just another case to him. If you need a family law attorney I would highly recommend Todd & the TSAI Law Company.

So after hiring 2 previous lawyers I finally hired Todd. Now I know that there are lawyers and there are people like Todd DeVallance. Honest, prepared, insightful and confident top the list of many many wonderful things I can say. Best evidence of his talent is that he's got me as a client for life.

Todd is a Rockstar!
Todd is great! He is smart, honest and reasonable. He never once promised me anything or told me stuff just because he knew it was what I wanted to hear. He actually told me the opposite of what I wanted to hear because he kept me informed on the law, and what he has experienced, which was appreciated. He was always very real with me. Todd and his assistant Marcus always kept me informed as to what was going on with my case and where we stood. It was a very long drawn out process, with multiple continuances before actually going to trial and they both made the situation as minimally stressful as possible and tried to keep my costs low. By the time we went to trial, I was very confident with our case and everything Todd and Marcus had prepared and we won everything I was asking for. Todd was a Rockstar in court and I was so happy to have him on my side! I would recommend him to anyone looking for a family attorney. He's personal and it shows. You won't be treated like just another customer, he treats you like a friend.

I couldn't have more pleased with Todd DeVallance and his team. Meeting with him and discussing our options for adding my son's father whom has passed away to his birth certificate. Todd and his team assured me and took all my worries about how to present the nessarry documents for the courts. I couldn't be more pleased with everything and thank Mr DeVallance from the bottom of my heart.

Excellence in Divorce Law
Mr. Todd DeVallance/the Tsai Law Company: My previous team and I were perilously close to trial date, with no valuation of my husband’s business in sight. At the first meeting, Mr. DeVallance talked to me about process, theory, law, went online to see which judge would be presiding. He took me on, won a continuation, so instead of racing to trial, we moved along methodically and efficiently. We created a witness list, he created a detailed spreadsheet of assets. His paralegal assistant Leah Dawson filled me in on procedure and the purpose of every action—and remained a source of personal support. I was nervous at mediation, but Mr. DeVallance stayed focused and alert and aggressive, and we won a very favorable settlement. Mr. DeVallance operates with his client in mind, he’s clear-sighted, smart and energetic, professional, works within a framework of good practice and good values. My outcome might have been different if I hadn’t found the Tsai Law Company and this team—I rate paralegal Leah Dawson and Todd DeVallance very highly.

"Todd DeVallance is an outstanding Family Law attorney and I do not hesitate to endorse him. We were on opposing sides of an extremely contentious Parenting Plan modification case. After extensive pre-trial motions practice, we spent three days in trial in Superior Court. Mr. DeVallance was always thoroughly prepared for court and was a zealous advocate for his client. His knowledge of both substantive and procedural law is unsurpassed. I highly recommend Mr. Devallance to anyone needing assistance with a Family Law matter."
