Dedicated, compassionate expert

I highly recommend using DeVallance Law. Todd was incredible throughout my divorce from temp orders all the way through multiple mediation sessions to finalize. He was always professional, calm, and kind. He was also very realistic about my options and the potential outcomes. Todd’s expertise and kno...wledge made a contentious divorce and very difficult time in my life more manageable. Ultimately Todd made sure that my son and I will be comfortable financially and emotionally after the divorce.

January 1, 2024 Re: Todd R. DeVallance Attorney at Law When searching for an attorney & after brief phone conversations, I was fortunate to talk with Todd R.DeVallance. He was the only one that did not require an upfront fee to discuss my situation in order to see if he was a matc...h for my circumstance. This led to a thorough discussion which confirmed he was the right one to represent me. He outlined the process, timeline, & had the knowledge & follow through that led to a positive outcome. I will continue to retain Todd for any future legal needs & highly recommend him. Respectfully, Nancy

Thank you Todd

Todd DeVallance, his law firm and his team of lawyers and staff are top notch. Communication was great. If I was falling behind on a deadline, they would let me know. If I needed to speak with someone, I was able to easily set up an appointment in a timely manner. If I emailed him, my emails were... also returned quickly. If he was stuck in trial on another case and couldn't respond right away, they would let me know ahead of time. My case was not an easy case. I had lots of cards stacked against me. Considering my difficult situation, I know that I got a better than fair outcome. I am very appreciative. Thank you specifically Todd, Stockton and Vanessa!!

High competent with integrity

I’ve worked with several and interviewed about a dozen lawyers, and yet have found Todd to be the most capable, concise and most importantly a great counsel. I have seen him take lead during mediation due to his experience, time management and organizational skills combined with his intellect and ca...lm demeanor that results in successful mediations. I have had him for three years, and throughout he has shown himself to be highly responsive, effective in his use of time, and is fair with costs. I have recommended Todd to my closest friends, and will continue to do so. Through the tough times, he has been more than a lawyer, but a wise counsel with integrity. Just the lawyer, counsel, and friend you need.

Highly recommend Todd for domestic violence victims seeking divorce

I retained Todd to divorce me from a very manipulative narcissistic abusive person. Todd is an incredible honest strong lawyer. He saw the gaslighting and manipulation right away and fought hard for me. He is fair, gives great advice and what outcomes to expect, and very quick to respond to question...s or concerns I had. he looked out for my best interest. After my first hearing (one of many) I knew I was in great hands and trusted Todd completely from that point on, including all the times we had to go back to court cause my ex was relentless. Todd stood up for me, saw through the manipulative narcissistic ex husband and all his bs and fought hard for me! If it wasnt for Todd representing me, I probably wouldve gave up or went back because it was too overwhelming to deal with my ex's manipulations and the mind games. He helped me through all of it and kept me stronger than i could have been on my own. It was the hardest months of my life going through that divorce process. I was drained emotionally and mentally. It felt like it was never going to end. Here I am a year later after divorce , extremely thankful and grateful and forever will be for Todd

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
