Phillip L. Weinberg

I hired Phillip L. Weinberg as my defense attorney for the first DUI case, I've ever been charged for. We met at a QFC for my consultation, which seemed odd to begin with. I handed him any documentation from the arrest and pre-trial records. He then had me immediately run around to meet with my physi...cian to get a documented medical record for me to stay at home due to illness/Dr recommendation. I printed out medical chat history regarding dual diagnosis, per his recommendation. He called me at 11pm prior to my hearing, letting me know 'just thought about it, I am will most likely be incarcerated.' I was then put on SCRAM on my first DUI offense, and he made me feel like 'we won.' I consulted with other attorneys after deciding to fire Phillip (his follow up in sloppy and our conversations were constantly interrupted due to his personal errands), these two highly recommended attorney's both had said that they would never hire him if their child was facing a DUI. I basically paid $2500 for him, when a public defender would have resulted in a similar outcome.

Mr Weinstein does not have an office, he wonders freely like a nomad. I met him at Sharis, Starbucks in woodenville, in his Volvo reading my charges. I had an indecent exposure and 4th degree assault was facing a year for a gross misdemeanor. He literally took me as a fool. He had me do an obsole...te polygraph (by his friend??), psychology evaluation(by his friend??) out of my pocket (which i dont need according to my other lawyer) on top of that he was pressuring me to reverse my plea to not guilty to guilty!?! Like how can you say stuff like that to a client? on top of that he charges like a law firm while running in a severalty. When i terminated the contract with him to get a proper legal advice recommended by a good friend, same rate, and i got a retainer back from wystein of 900 something dollar and change and he charged 4100 dollar legal fee and never once stepped a foot in the court to represent me. His reasons were very cunning he sent a statement stating that He charged 400 dollars an hr for every minute of legal service presumptively rendered over the phone conversations, duration of him reading my email or whatever the loathing he fulfills by slurring big empty words to count every minute which came out to be like 10hrs.. After I switched my competent lawyer resolved the matter in a month got it dismissed no times no stress no trials no evaluations, and most of all, a mind at peace during the time represented by the second lawyer.

No office meets in very public places. Which is crazy with the amount i alone paid him.Not prepared for courts. Doesnt remember anything about my case. Over charged. Would have gotten same results without a lawyer. Not confidential. Worst part of my whole court experience. I dont think I had one pho...ne call or meeting with him where he didnt interrupt it for another client and then have to start all.over again.

And once your inside the gears of this insidious beast that is our police state they own you. They don't ever want to let you out. You become a commodity. Someone I could trust to have my back,. Someone who would fight alongside me. Do I trust my life to a public defender? Do I hire the first Lawyer I can find? No my friends. You get the best. I hired the best damn lawyer out there. I hired Phillip L. Weinberg. I struggle to fully express the gratitude I have for this man. He saved my life. He represented me and fought for me. His attention to detail and emense knowledge and understanding of the law rivaled by none. Witnessing him work his magic was an experience I'll never forget. So, quit procrastinating.
