Max was great from the beginning to the end of the case. I used his services three times and he always delivered. He will find the time to talk to you as much as you need and explain the different options of the case. This was very important to me to understand where I am and what are the different ...scenarios. In all three cases I eventually got wanted.

We had an expensive jewelry theft from a hotel room in Hong Kong. Police did a full inspection with at-home interviews for suspects. The hotel admitted responsibility. Then the hotel passed the matter to their insurer, and the insurance company's loss adjuster offered a depreciated value against the ...jewelry. The necklace was still available online and had appreciated in value, not depreciated. The loss adjuster would not budge, so we engaged Maxim to help us with litigation. While Maxim doesn't practice law in Hong Kong, he was able to draft a letter that was powerful, well-worded, clear in terms of the only outcome we were looking for, and explained that if they didn't deal with this now then we would be handing over to a Hong Kong legal team that Maxim was recommending where further costs would be incurred on their behalf. After one letter the insurer caved and gave us the full *appreciated* amount for the necklace so we could repurchase it. Maxim was a joy to work with, taking the entire process on, and working directly on our behalf. Maxim will be my go-to person for all our legal needs from now on due to his expertise, customer service, and thoughtfulness. I can't recommend him highly enough.
