My husband and I engaged Maxim Lissak about a month after we signed all of the final paper work in order to purchase a travel trailer. We had no idea that there were any problems until we went to make our first payment for the RV and found out that the bank that was listed as the lien holder had deni...ed the loan. Even though we had possession of the vehicle for over a month and had made repeated phone calls to the dealership, after finding out that there was no loan, they could not/would not help us and would not return our calls. After another 3 weeks, we received a call from the dealership’s out of state corporate office. They were very anxious to remedy the unfortunate situation and wanted us to sign new paper work agreeing to a new set of terms which would have cost us several thousands of dollars. That just did not seem right! We really didn’t know what to do, so my husband did some research online. In comes Max! He took the time to speak with my husband over the phone in order to understand the situation that had occurred and asked that we send him some additional information. He looked over all of the paper work that we had been given and that we had previously signed and then provided us with options. What he did not say spoke loud and clear to us! He did not say that we should just pay the additional fees and live with it, as the dealership had wanted us to do. Immediately after Max became involved, I felt a sense of calm. There was someone to help!! From that time on, Max handled all of the communication with the dealership and the whole tone that they were using with us, had now changed. He made sure that we did not have to pay for the dealership’s incompetence and they ended up paying the additional fees, instead of us! Yay! Max was extremely responsive to both my husband and I, whether it was through email communication or by phone. He never made us feel like we were a nuisance to him, even though we had a lot of questions. We would highly recommend Max to anyone who feels like they were in a helpless situation as we did.
