Justin Rosas is the founding lawyer at the Medford criminal defense law firm, The Law Office of Justin Rosas. Attorney Rosas earned his Bachelor’s degree in 2003 from the University of Kentucky, where he graduated with honors. He then went on to receive his Juris Doctorate degree in 2006 from the University of Kentucky College of Law, where he entered with a Provost’s Fellowship and graduated with a focus on real estate and intellectual property. After this, Attorney Rosas received a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Webster University, and later went on to graduate from the National Criminal Defense College in Macon, Georgia. Mr. Rosas is admitted to the Oregon State Bar, and is an active member of the Oregon Criminal Defense Lawyers Associaton. In addition, he is the regional coordinator for Classroom Law Project’s Mock Trial program.
In 2007, Attorney Rosas began working as a trial attorney at Southern Oregon Public Defenders, where he quickly realized that he had found his calling in life. Mr. Rosas understands how overwhelming it is to be charged with a criminal offense—especially when charges have the potential to lead to harsh penalties. Facing criminal charges can cause feelings of anxiety, as you question whether you will ever be able to return to a life of normalcy. He takes pride in handling each case as if he was the one facing the criminal charges, or one of his loved ones was the defendant being accused. When an individual retains the representation of Attorney Rosas, he will utilize all his resources and knowledge to develop a strategy that is tailored to fit their situation and most likely to lead to favorable outcomes. Whether you are facing charges involving a drug crime, theft crime, internet crime, or DUI offense, you can have confidence that Attorney Rosas will do everything in his power to defend your rights and protect your future. Absolutely the best protection of my freedom
I was charged and convicted via a plea bargain in the county i live in. I was subsequently charged for the exact same charges in the neighboring county which i felt was double jeopardy and was facing 3 more felonies. This took me to a place emotionally to the point of a full on serious crying event ...

Stop looking and choose Justin!
If you're reading this, you're probably in need of an attorney you can trust to do everything he/she can to represent you during a very trying process for some unfortunate incident. I can't recommend Justin highly enough. He is a rare combination of smart, trustworthy, empathic, driven, and congen...
"To understand Justin's philosophy in defending his clients, one need only look at his passion for running. Justin keeps the pressure on prosecutors by utilizing his incredible stamina and desire to achieve results to carry his client to the finish line. He is smart, energetic, and fearless. As an alumni of the National Criminal Defense College he has gained and improved the necessary trial skills, but more importantly, he left an impression on his peers as being an attorney capable of greatness."
"Justin Rosas is a tireless advocate, outstanding trial attorney, and consummate professional. Justin is that rare attorney with both extensive trial experience and seemingly endless youthful energy; he is a seasoned attorney with a dynamic personality that draws you in. Justin is tirelessly devoted to client-centered advocacy and works his magic in the details that often escape attorneys with less dedication or experience. He has a rare intellectual curiosity that keeps him sharp and engaged. Justin is the first attorney I call for advice or to discuss legal issues both broad and narrow; he is well-read, always informed, and exceptionally articulate. Justin’s finest attributes are exemplified in his trial work and at hearings. I often attend his appearances and I am always impressed with the way he handles witnesses and presents his client’s narrative. I learn from Justin every time I watch him work. Simply put: you will not find a better advocate than Justin Rosas."
"I've worked with Justin since 2007. He is relentless and passionate in his criminal defense practice."
"Justin is hard-working, smart and passionate about representing his clients. He is experienced, respected, and all around top-notch!"
"Tireless. Justin Rosas is tireless when it comes to defending his clients. He will do anything and everything he can for each client - and more important, he gets results. If there is a motion to be filed, Justin files it. If there is an argument to be made, Justin makes it. He is my #1 choice for any criminal defense matter in the whole state of Oregon."
"Justin is a phenomenal lawyer, and for those seeking it, he inspires greatness. His tenacity, his passion and his inexhaustible drive motivates everyone who is listening to do better. In the legal field, this characteristic translates into representation reflecting the best our profession has to offer and the most any attorney can hope to achieve. My recommendation of Justin is given without reservation."
"Mr. Rosas gives consistently reliable and nuanced advice about an array of critical legal subjects."
"I've come in contact with many lawyers during the course of my career. Justin breaks the traditional stereotype that most people have of lawyers. Justin's clients can expect to be treated as individuals and not like a number. He is a relentless, intelligent, and passionate advocate. In defending clients against criminal charges he will not throw them under the bus to build or keep relationships with government agents. His loyalty remains with his clients and they can trust that they are getting the best legal advice to suit their own personal interests. I recommend Justin without hesitation to anyone in need of his services."
"Justin is an excellent attorney. Aggressive, compassionate, very intelligent. You will be in good hands with his representation, no matter the case."
"I endorse this lawyer. Justin and I attended the same Criminal Defense Training Program in Georgia last year. The mere fact that Justin was willing to take two weeks (unpaid) of his life and dedicate them to becoming a better attorney for his clients speaks volumes. I know the passion and committment he brings to the table. I highly endorse Justin Rosas."
"Justin is the most committed criminal defense attorney I have ever worked with. He is charismatic in court, compassionate with his clients and kind to his co-workers. He also has the ability to do a myriad of things well at once - from creative motion practice to closing arguments to helping out another lawyer with just about anything. Justin's nimble-mindedness is unparalleled. All of Justin's clients are lucky to have him on their side. Fellow attorneys are lucky to have him as a resource. If I ever get a chance to work with him again, it would be a pleasure and a privilege."
"Justin is a relentless and determined advocate. He is also incredibly compassionate. During the years I worked with him at Southern Oregon Public Defender I never saw him give anything less than 100% to each of his clients. He is passionate about criminal defense. He is smart, creative, and charismatic. I watched him build a reputation with the Jackson County DA's office from the new guy in town to the guy they don't want to mess with. Negotiating, jury trials, motions to suppress... he's your guy. Anyone needing representation in a criminal matter would be well served to have Justin as their attorney."
