Keep Away!!!!!
There are no words to describe just how despicable this "person" is. Cold, rude, manipulative, cruel.... all for no reason. Incredibly mean and self-serving, and behaves completely unprofessionally. Terribly and confusingly illiterate - can't put a grammatically correct sentence together by either sp...

Not a good attorney
My daughter and I hired Jamie for a complicated custody battle over my grandson. Jamie did not listen to what my daughter tried to tell her about her ex who is manipulative and abusive. In the end Jamie made the situation even more complicated and worse, dangerous for my grandson. She over charged us...

Unethical Attorney
I called and made a consultation to retain her for my divorce case. When I called, the secretary did a conflict of interest report which came back negative so we proceeded to book the consultation. Upon my arrival they asked me if they had previously represented me because they "knew my name" which c...
I am sorry to hear that you feel that our office was not up front with you. I can certainly affirm that I have NEVER spoken with a spouse of a potential client and would never engage in the behavior you are alleging. It is our office policy unequivocally that we don't let ANY third party back with a potential client for their consultation. We do this to protect your confidentiality. If we allow a third party with you in the room you have waived the confidentiality of our conversation under the law. It had nothing to do with the person you brought or who you were. Further, I do recall several individuals coming in and then leaving when we announced this policy, but I can absolutely confirm we didn't have a conflict of interest. That would have been relayed prior to the consultation. You have chosen to post anonymously and I respect that but I would be happy to privately message with you should you choose and alleviate your concerns that I spoke with your spouse and would never allow someone to contact me and "tell me" not to represent someone.

disappointed
WE hired her to create a will, gave her the fee and all she produced was a single form ( with many errors) on the care of our minor children in the event of our death. There was a delay with us compiling all of the necessary information and in the meantime she sent us a letter informing us that ser...

"I am pleased to provide this unsolicited endorsement of Jamie Hazlett. This lawyer is the most actively engaged lawyer I have ever seen in helping others in the Southern Oregon community. She has served as President of the Jackson County Bar and as President of Rogue Woman Lawyers. During her tenure in these positions she did an exceptional job. She worked tirelessly to create a fund raising event for the Maslow Project, an organization that supports homeless teens. She is a very pleasant person and compassionate. She is well known in the community as an outstanding family law lawyer. She is well liked and respected by the Circuit Court judges she appears before and a leader among her peers. There are not many lawyers that impress me with their skills, but I have always admired and respected Jamie Hazlett because she is quite impressive. I highly recommend Jamie Hazlett."
"I endorse this lawyer. Jamie is a fearless advocate for her clients. She truly cares about her clients wellbeing and strives to help them through some of the toughest times in a person's life."
"Jamie is a sharp, hard-working, and experienced litigator. I enthusiastically Jamie for any legal matter."
"I have had the pleasure of working with Jamie on a number of projects for the Oregon State Bar. She is passionate and diligent in everything she does and handles difficult situations with the utmost candor. I know that these same qualities carry over to her legal practice and she is an attorney who can get things done. I would definitely recommend her for any matter."
