Jet Harris

We engaged Ms. Harris in 2013 to assist us with a defamation and harassment case. She did almost nothing for the entire duration of our engagement. At one point, after months of doing nothing, we vocally complained, compelling her to actually speak with the party who was harassing us. That led to the... party agreeing to a settlement. But, though we gave her several weeks, Ms. Harris never drafted the settlement. By the time we hired new counsel, the party had lost their appetite to settle. So we had to file suit (which we eventually settled), costing us thousands of dollars we should not have had to spend. (Also of note, Ms. Harris did not transfer all of her files on this case to our new attorney until months later.)

I trusted Jet with a very serious medical mal practice case. She & her office staff consistently did not not respond to me timely via phone call, emails, hiring expert witnesses, lost records and overall dropped the ball for over a year. Unfortunately I did not not fire her earlier. I ran out of time... as the two year statute of limitations ran out before I could hire another competent attorney. All four lawyers I spoke with after I fired Jet were appalled by her lack of representation. None of whom would take my case as there was only two months left before the two year limitation ran out. I requested my medical records collected on my behalf when I fired her to expedite the possibility of another attorney taking the case as there was two months left, and it took her five months to send them. DO NOT HIRE this 'lawyer'.
