Amazed

Mark asked me in our consultation, of how I would like the results to end up, if I hired him. I told him that I would like to have my charge reduced to a lesser charge. I wasn't sure what to make of Mark , during our initial meeting. I looked around his office and noticed a plaque on his wall that... said "100 top trial attorneys in Oregon". I believe that's what it said. I felt more comfortable in my decision making, after seeing that. I hired him, we went to court to try to plea and the assistant DA wasn't budging on a plea. We went back to court on our next and final court appearance, and it was like watching a magician at work. He had done his homework and then some. He was so prepared, that the assistant DA was left speechless and struggling to fight. She didn't stand a chance. I wasn't sure what had happened until we exited the court room. Mark explained to me what happened.......ALL CHARGES WERE DROPPED! I couldn't believe it. I was expecting a lesser charge, but Mark's hard work paid off. I'd use him again without hesitation and would highly recommend him. He's very good at his job. Thank you, Mark. -Andrew

Solid and caring and a nice guy too

When my son got in trouble over a domestic issue, a friend suggested Mark Geiger. We went in and were surprised at how well Mark knew the law, and how he knew just what to do. My son's situation was a little complicated and unique, but Mark had had experience with a very similar situation he told us ...about. It turned out that he thought of a solution that the other lawyer we went to see didn't know anything about. He was fair and nice through the whole process, and always friendly in hearings when it can be intimidating for the family to be in court. He saw us through, and my son and I are very satisfied and grateful. I would recommend Mark to anyone.

When There's No "Innocence Project" in OR, Call Mark Geiger

If you have been falsely-accused of a crime, but are actually innocent, Mark Geiger and his investigative team with Eric Mason are the only ones I've met in Oregon who can serve as the equivalent to an "Innocence Project" and advocate well-enough to save you! The process took two and one half years ...to investigate, gather sworn exculpatory witness affidavits which could clearly prove my innocence, and wait for my turn on the docket for fairness when Truth finally revealed itself, but Mark prepared an excellent Appeal with the new evidence as Exhibits, WON the Appeal, and the wrongful conviction was REVERSED! I HIGHLY recommend him as an Appeals Attorney! Though the ACLU had filed an Amicus Brief on my behalf, the Appeals Court had plenty to overturn without that. When the charge was finally dismissed and I'd been released to my weary family, we thanked God for helping us find men of integrity who were genuinely willing to help when we couldn't "afford justice" and did not just presume guilt. Bless you, Mark, Eric, and Team for saving my life! A Woman Who Was Actually Innocent

Highly Recommended

Mark represented me in a recent criminal matter. I had never had any criminal issues in the past, so this was a difficult and scary experience for me. I couldn’t have gotten through this without Mark’s help. He was patient with all of my questions, respectful, kind, and made himself available when...ever I needed. Mark was extremely knowledgeable and seemed to anticipate every move the DA made, which was very helpful to my case. Mark understands the process and what needs to be done to help minimize the effects of a bad situation. I thought my life was over, and Mark literally saved it. I would highly recommend him and his services to anyone needing help with a criminal matter.

Mark Geiger is an affordable and ethical attorney who tries his best!

After consulting several attorneys, I chose Mark Geiger to be the attorney to represent me. He is a person who is not afraid to work for his client. Mark answered my phone calls as early as 7 A.M. and returned some of my evening emails, the same night. However, deciding whether an attorney is good or... not, is not all just about returning phone calls or emails. Mark is an ethical attorney that has a conscious. Being in a profession, that involves dealing with people accused of a crimes, I think it would be difficult to not pre-judge a someone accused of a crime. Mark actually spent the time to listen to my case, without judging me. Being a criminal lawyer with 27 years experience, his knowledge of the law is extensive. This gives a defendant a much better chance of success in court. I know...because after going to court, his knowledge of the law helped me have a chance in life, again. Not only did he help me, but he did it at a lower rate than the other attorneys that I spoke with quoted. I hope that none of you ever get in trouble with the law. However, If you do have legal issues, I strongly recommend using Mark Geiger's services. He is an attorney that I believe will do the best job, humanly possible, representing you. Thank you, Mark!

This means the lawyer did something wrong but the bar did not suspend the lawyer. Typically in this case the lawyer's poor behavior is exposed to the public in hopes that he or she will not repeat the behavior.
