Do not hire this man. He "handled" (I use this term loosely) my divorce. I ended up losing everything and my husband of 10 years got the entire estate because this person is such a bad attorney. We spent a year getting to trial and by the time we were in trial, he was a bumbling fool. There are good ...attorneys and bad ones, Atr Knauss is the latter.

Art Represented me in a family law case. After paying lawyers and self representing, I can say he has been the best lawyer I have ever had. I have paid over $30k in lawyers to defend my child's rights and I have never had a lawyer who was able to make a big difference. Art saved me so much money and ...was also able to present the facts the way I wanted. I live in another state, so not having physically met him, I was weary as I have had bad lawyers in the past. I felt he truly put my money to good use and did not use me. I like how he wasn't rude to the other parties lawyer, how he really listened to what has been happening, and was able to get justice for me and my family. After 9 years of being taken to court over a parenting plan, I really feel Art may have put a stop to all the drama. Highly recommend him. Art represented me in a 2013 felony heroin posession case. I was caught red handed with heroin in the presence of my 7 month old daughter. Furthermore, I was already on probation for 2010 convictions for posession of heroin and delivery (dealing) of cocaine at the time of my arrest. Furthermore I was... revoked from my probation in the middle of my case 4 months after my indictment for being arrested breaking into an apartment near clackamas town center while high as a kite. (Charges were never pursued in the break in case). Despite all this, Art Knauss managed to get my heroin posession charge dismissed entirely and get me an INCREDIBLE plea deal on the child endangerment charge: two 12 hour jail blocks and no fines and fees.
