At the beginning of this year I was granted a divorce by default. In the divorce there was a question of paternity, hence the reason for a default judgment because my ex wife refused to respond or acknowledge that she received the documents. We tried to serve her several times at multiple addresses b...ut to no avail. A few months later I received child support papers in the mail and realized why she didn't respond and that was because my divorce attorney did not specify the child was not mine. I panicked and went to child support enforcement and explained what was going on and was recommended to retain an attorney. I went to a few different consultations.
