Wonderful experience

I referred a friend to James Gregory. He was a disabled vet who was being summoned to court for something that should have been resolved years ago. Mr. Gregory handled the matter swiftly and thoroughly, and went out of his way to see this matter was finally resolved. It was an extremely emotional sit...uation for my friend and he was highly grateful for more than the legal skills Mr. Gregory displayed; he showed genuine concern for my friend's legal rights and determination that justice be done. I may not have been the one who hired him, so I'm listing this as "just a consultation." But I can guarantee that Mr. Gregory got great results. I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone.

Disabled Vet

I am the disabled Vet, That Mr. Gregory helped. I had a stroke back in 1999, before the stroke I was a Graduate of Regis University BA/CS and thought I was doing well. Apparently I was arrested and put on probration for a crime I didn't comment years ago. The stroke took a lot of my skills/memory and... physical issues as well. Well some time in December of 2016 Law Enforement came to my home and said that I had a warrant for my arrest back 13 years ago. I didn't know what to do, I still can't remember, which is sad. I greatful for a Friend (Sue) who hooked me up with Mr Gregory who took my case, knowing I had no way of paying for said services, He saw me as a Human being with compassion and help me clear this issue. I am very thankful for his time and legal expertise. I gave 5 star rating because there isn't a 10 rating scale. Thank you for everything you have done Mr James R Gregory. I am in your debt. It was my pleasure, Archie, to have reached a fair result in your case. I believe in justice, and I believe that access to justice should be provided to everyone, regardless of their financial circumstances.

Terrible

James told us he “forgot” to finish our case and encouraged us to sue his malpractice insurance. We hired another firm and now we found out the original case wasn’t forgotten but just not completed. If he had told the attorneys he worked with he had this case, they could have finished it for him. The...n we wouldn’t have to be paying two attorneys! What a mess!

Regrettably, I missed the statute of limitations on this client's case (the third of three cases - they were very pleased with my work on the other two). When I realized my error, I did the only right thing: I promptly disclosed what had happened, and provided referrals to five reputable attorneys who specialize in malpractice. A very capable attorney took over, and I am confident he will obtain a fair result. Anyone can make a mistake, and that is why attorneys carry insurance. Two things of note: 1) Despite what this former client stated, she did not pay me or my firm one penny in attorney fees (and, hence, did not "pay two attorneys"); and, 2) This client's statement that my old firm should have pressed ahead after the expiration of the SOL indicates she has been given extremely bad advice by someone who has an appalling lack of familiarity with both substantive law and legal ethics. . .probably the very same person who encouraged her to leave this negative review.

James jumped right in after taking over my case. The process was long but James kept contact with me updating me with information and progress of the case. Been a pleasure working with him and his law firm.
