This is the BEST ATTORNEY that we have ever hired. I had my bank account wrongfully garnished because my boyfriend’s name was on my account. My boyfriend went through a custody battle trying to get custody of his kids, who are failing out of school. The judge decided to keep it the same. The other a...ttorney garnished our accounts, but one of the accounts was solely mine. Mr Johnston corresponded with the other attorney and proved to him it was my account by showing him deposits etc. I got my money returned to me in three days. HE IS AMAZING. I have known Ron Johnston professionally for about seven years. He handled my divorce, which had many different issues, including a claim for spousal support, parenting time, child support, property division, land and investment accounts. My wife also sued me on a claim for “mahr,”, which is a... form of Iranian “reverse dowry.” Ron said that the mahr claim was the first of its kind in Oregon and that there were only about a dozen cases in all of the rest of the country. Ron successfully defended this claim and my wife got zero. He also convinced the court to award zero spousal support. The trial took about four days, and I was very pleased at the outcome. Six years later, our real property had not yet sold. Ron filed a series of motions to make my wife list the property . Ron was very tenacious in getting the property listed and marketed. He knows how to use the court system. I would recommend Ron to anyone with a family law legal problem.

Ron came into my son's custody battle after we had been tied up for over a year for nothing more than lack of fathers rights. Ron prevented a move away of over a thousand miles, got 50/50 visitation and helped secure some safe measures for the childs well being as well.
