James Andrew King

James Andrew King is the absolute last person you would want to hire to represent your child. First, he will not follow state laws regarding custody and parenting time. He believes he is above the law and he should lose his license forever for being so absolutely drawn to money. He will side with ...the parent that pays the bill up front no matter what and he does not care one wink about your child. Your child will suffer in the hands of abusers and become an abuser himself if you use this attorney. James King has no clue about how narcissists manipulate their children to say things that are not true. He is totally subjective and not objective. He will not follow the 5 required tests for parenting time and custody - he will only consider what the child wants at the moment. Even if it isn't in the child's best interest. He is a horrible person. He will lie right to your face and cost you a ton of money (which is why he lies so that he can run up fees so that you will go to court and he can run up more fees). He will not advocate for the child. He will advocate for the parent who pays him first.

I have hired James and met with James for consolations/advice for nearly 15 years now. I no longer live in the Portland area and I will call him first before asking any attorneys in my area. I truly trust him. He has the experience to show his worth but he also has the heart and genuinely cares for y...our situation. He still remembers things from 15 years ago about my case. He always made sure that I was getting the most out of what I could afford and I never felt like he overcharged. I owe him so much for everything he has done for me and my child. I was a very young single mom 15 years ago that could not afford much and I took a chance on James. I am so glad that I did. He really is the best. I am referring one of my close friends to him at this very moment which is why I came to write this review.

I would recommend James King to anyone going through a divorce. He was very compassionate and understanding throughout the whole process. He informed me on how cases like mine would normally turn out if we went to court, although made it clear where there WAS wiggle room in my favor (which I apprecia...ted). The whole process turned out fairly simple & I was glad to have James's support.

Very efficient in helping my ex wife with her completely fabricated stories and essentially trying to strip away my rights as a father for my two children. Would highly recommend to anyone who is trying to do the wrong thing and has ulterior motives. Perfect lawyer for those that have a challenged mo...ral compass. I am so glad I served in combat to protect your freedom.
