Stay away from Mary W Johnson

We hired Mary while I was deployed to Iraq. It was a family law case involving my wife and ex husband. It's was supposed to be a simple modification to a parenting plan. Mary dragged out our case, milking us for every penny we had. She ignored our request in how to proceed or to limit communication w...ith the other party who was representing himself, thus charging is for every single excessive communication with him. We ended up with a bill of over 20,000 to Mary. After speaking with other attorneys they were floored at the amount we were paying and none had ever seen a case like our cost so much. After a review of our bill, we were advised that she charged us way to much, and spent excessive time on emails, phone calls and paperwork that should not have taken the amount of time she spent on them. Please consider any other attorney!

Relationship: Fellow lawyer in community

"I endorse this lawyer. I have been in the Clackamas County legal community for 26 years and have been impressed with with Mary's extraordinary knowledge of Family, Elder and Real Estate law. Mary is clearly responsive and aggressive in advocating for her clients. She is a resource for me in referring people who have legal issues for which I cannot help. I endorse her without reservation.
