After a big name law firm messed up a legal situation where my elderly parents were being sued, we hired Dave to unravel and resolve the debacle. Dave came up with a resolution we could live with so my mom didn't have to go through anymore unnecssary heartache. Dave didn't "lawyer" up the case and if anyone has had a bad attorney, you know what I am talking about. He knows the law but he has common sense too. He didn't talk us in circles or come up with crazy ways to drag things out for the sake of running up fee's - he did his job and did it well. My mother, who was caring for my dad with dementia, was incredibly fragile and Dave treated her with the utmost respect and care throughout the case.

Big firm experience, but fully accessible!
David has handled all legal needs for our LLC, from assisting with the formation, to contracts and general legal expertise. He has an impressive resume, having worked at the big city firms and is not afraid to take on the most complicated of cases. But, most impressive is his effort to have direct communication with clients. He always responds in a timely manner. Best lawyer i've ever worked with
I have worked with Dave since I started my own business about 6 years ago. I don't really use the word genius lightly but this lawyer is hands down a genius. I have referred many clients to him over the years and he has never disappointed. You definitely cannot go wrong choosing this lawyer.

Pacific West Bank uses Dave Smith for much of our legal work. Some of that work entails commercial collections, property foreclosures and filing lawsuits. Dave and his legal assistant Wendy are very quick to respond to the Bank's needs and are always open to all kinds of legal questions. Dave's office is only a few blocks away from the Bank and a very informal relationship has been developed over the years. We can drop into Dave's office unannounced and leave documents with Wendy or Dave anytime. In addition, Wendy is frequently in the Bank delivering documents. Great service and followup .. Highly recommend!
Dave has handled several types of cases for me (dog bite, employment contract and advice on a bad debt collection.) He always kept me informed, honestly gave me his opinion on my chances of winning, was always professional in dealing with the other side. I would highly recommend him.
