Brian Michael Starns

I was cited for DUII, a pretty traumatic experience. Other than a few traffic tickets my 40+ years of driving have been uneventful. Brian explained the likely course of events, dealt with the court and DA, and successfully achieved an outcome of diversion. I kept my driving privileges and avoided a... big insurance issue. It's not inexpensive to have a private attorney for a DUII, but I believe it was money well spent. I needed someone with experience to help me avoid even more costly mistakes I could have made due to lack of knowledge of the specifics of the law and the Hood River court process. I was arrested for DUII. I had blown under the legal limit and was still being charged. I had originally retained a different lawyer, but after my arraignment, they decided to stop practicing law to pursue other ventures. They referred me to Brian Starns at this point. Brian took on my case and reall...y took charge. He leaned on the DA for me and got me prepared for the possible eventuality of going to trial. In the end, Brian was able to get my case dismissed and my record expunged. This really saved my career and my future. He was a great improvement from the previous lawyer and was very assuring coming up to trial date. If something like this ever happens to me again, I will talk to Brian first.
