Late one evening while I was visiting my family in Hawaii this past Christmas, I had the misfortune of being pulled over at the speed trap right past Castle hospital and later was charged with a DUI. For me, the whole process of being put in handcuffs and charged as a criminal was an extremely stres...sful ordeal; not only in the moment, but also considering my future career prospects and how "having a record" impacted that.
