Great experience

Diane C. Haar has a wonderful team, very comprehensive, very prepared. We had social security disability case. The office is professional and prompt in all of the responses. The process went from being frustrating and confusing when I was doing it on my own to straightforward and although it still ...took a long time, the Attorney and her team was completely supportive, knowledgeable and well informed. We were completely supported all along the way. They are very good at screening the case and they are very honest whether or not the case has merit. Even afterward, when I had questions the office staff was there to answer questions and help with the bureaucracy.

"Victory"

I broke my wrist (shattered my Radius) back in April of 2018. Upon visiting the ER, it was inevitable that surgery was needed. I faced unexpected setbacks and surgery was done 13 days after the injury occurred. I had never broken a bone nor ever had surgery. This whole ordeal was a life changing even...t. Not only did I face healing from the surgery, I also faced healing emotionally and psychologically. I felt helpless not knowing what my future was looking like. I went through the procedures of filing for TDI...it was denied - I tried to file for Unemployment...I was denied - I filed for Social Security Disability...I was denied - I appealed...that was denied. My next thought was "I think I need an attorney". That's when I contacted Diane Haar's office to inquire if she might be able to help me. On my initial consultation with Diane, her office staff was welcoming and pleasant. Meeting with Diane was like talking with a friend! She is very professional and easy to talk with. Upon hiring her to help me with my Social Security Disability case, she and her staff would take care of any further communication with the SS Office. 22 months later, we were finally given a hearing date. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, my hearing took place over the phone. The outcome was a victory! I will be forever endeted to Diane and her Legal Assistants John, Taryn and Jahdiel. You folks are awesome...to whoever is in need of legal assistance regarding Social Security Disability, please don't hesitate to contact Hawaii Disability Legal Services, LLC - you could only regret not contacting them. Thank you again Diane, John, Taryn and Jahdiel!

Diane C. Haar is simply the best.

Diane C. Haar was a blessing to my family and I. She listened and fought for us. Diane is a warm and compassionate person. She took most of the stress of the situation off of me. Her staff was very helpful and professional. I put my trust in Diane and her team. I am so very glad that I did.

Highly Recommended

I have nothing but praise for attorney Diane Haar. Diane and her staff appealed my initial disability denial and I was lucky to have a quick approval for my earned SSDI benefits. Diane and her staff always responded to my questions quickly and to follow up on communications from SSDI. I chose Diane ...Haar after seeing her impressive educational qualifications, that includes a Masters in Public Health, which I felt was a plus since she is dealing with medical issues. Our initial meeting was in Hilo since she travels on a regular basis from Oahu to the Big Island. Diane is a delightful person who made us feel comfortable discussing my conditions. I always felt that I was getting personal attention during the process

Diane should be your first and only choice for legal representation for SSA Disability Claims

Because I have worked for large law firms most of my life I knew finding the right attorney for my SSDI claim would be crucial. I wanted a small firm because they tend to work harder and where every client is a person and not a case number. I wanted an attorney that graduated from a reputable c...ollege that is known to provide a great education as opposed to a community college that offers night classes. I did my research on every attorney I considered. I looked at their education, attorney bar reviews and most importantly reviews from past clients. Don’t fall for the attorney who has slick photos and scripted advertisement promising they will win your SSDI claim. No attorney wins every case they take. I finally decided on Diane Haar from Hawaii Disability Legal Services. Diane graduated from Berkeley University of California and completed her law degree at Yale Law School. Diane and her legal assistant Michele Horton have numerous reviews and all of them are five star glowing recommendations. I met with Diane and almost immediately knew she was the right attorney for me. She answered all my questions and described the process in an easy to understand manner. She believed in my case, she researched my disability, gathered all of my medical records and devoted several hours to prepare me for the questions the judge would ask. Because of Diane I was ready for my day in court. I was relaxed, prepared for any question the judge may ask and most of all confident that I would win my SSDI claim. Thanks to Diane I received a fully favorable decision. If you want an attorney who is motivated, highly educated and has the best legal team in Hawaii then Diane Haar and Hawaii Legal Disability Legal Services is the only choice!
