Andrew Guzzo

Mr. Guzzo’s practice focuses almost exclusively on representing consumers, with an emphasis on federal litigation against credit reporting agencies, creditors and debt collectors for violations of the Fair Credit Reporting Act and Fair Debt Collection Practices Act. In the past four years, Mr. Guzzo has litigated more than 100 cases on behalf of consumers, including several class actions. In 2015, Mr. Guzzo was selected as a Rising Star in Consumer Law by Super Lawyers Magazine.

Andrew Guzzo has extensive experience litigating a broad spectrum of cases against credit bureaus, including cases where credit bureaus fail to remove inaccurate information from credit reports or where consumers are victims of mixed credit files. Mr. Guzzo’s litigation experience ranges from individual claims to class action challenges. In 2014, Mr. Guzzo was part of a team of lawyers who successfully obtained a summary judgment ruling in a class action case finding that a prominent credit reporting agency willfully violated the FCRA. He has also argued before the Supreme Court of Virginia, and was admitted to practice consumer law in Hawaii in 2017.
