After losing everything we owned when the economy tanked, we were pursued by debt collectors and sued. Never having been sued before, we were afraid they would take what little we had left. We were also embarrassed by our predicament and losses that brought us to this. We knew nothing of fil...ing bankruptcy or if it was even the right option for us. Mr. Ortner and his staff were so reassuring and friendly, and I appreciated the informal atmosphere. They let us know we were not alone, and treated us with utmost respect. With a lawsuit hanging over us, our anxiety level was high. We asked a lot of questions, calling and emailing often to discuss our worries. MR. ORTNER WAS RECOMMENDED TO US BY A FAMILY MEMBER. HE FIRST EXPLAINED WHAT OUR CASE INVOLVED AND HOW IT WOULD PROBABLY HANDLED. HIS OFICE PROVIDED US WITH ALL THE PROPER PAPERWORK AND ASSISTED US IN FILLING IT OUT. HIS STAFF WAS EXCELLENT IN GUIDING US TO BE SURE THAT WE DID THE PROPER STEPS IN... THE ORDER. NEEDED. THEY HAVE TAKEN ANY WORRY OUT OF WHICH PAPERS TO FILE AND WHEN. I GET A CALL FROM THE LEGAN SECRETARY AND SHE TELLS US EXACTLY WHAT TO DO OR WHERE WE NEED TO GO. WE ARE INDEBITED TO MR ORTNER, BECAUSE OF HIM THIS HAS BEEN A MUCH LESS PAINLESS PROCEDURE THAN WE WERE LED TO BELIEVE.
