After losing everything we owned when the economy tanked, we were pursued by debt collectors and sued. Never having been sued before, we were afraid they would take what little we had left. We were also embarrassed by our predicament and losses that brought us to this. We knew nothing of fil...ing bankruptcy or if it was even the right option for us. Mr. Ortner and his staff were so reassuring and friendly, and I appreciated the informal atmosphere. They let us know we were not alone, and treated us with utmost respect. With a lawsuit hanging over us, our anxiety level was high. We asked a lot of questions, calling and emailing often to discuss our worries. I hired Mr. Ortner to handle a bankruptcy for my mother, who had lost her ability manage her own affairs. He and the people in his office handled everything in a very professional and efficient manner, even helping my mother, who had never touched a computer before, log on and complete information... necessary to complete the process. I was so grateful as from the moment I hired him my mother could tell her creditors to back off and to call her attorney. She could finally answer her phone again without the fear of being berated or hassled . His fees were fair and I always heard back from him or his assistant within hours of my inquiry. In the last year I needed to contact them regarding credit information relating to the bankruptcy and they graciously helped me through the process so I could better take care of my mother and her financial needs. My only regret is that he does not practice in other areas of law so I could hire him again because I trust him and his team so much.

I WAS APPOINTED ERIC ORTNER BY THE COURT. HE HAD FACTUAL EXCULPATORY EVIDENCE WHICH HE INTENTIONALY WITHHELD FROM THE COURT THAT I PERSONALLY GAVE TO HIM PRIOR TO PRONOUCEMENT OF SENTENCE, WHERE THE EVIDENCE CAME IN THE FORM OF A LETTER FROM A OFFICER OF THE COURT ( ELLEN C. DOVE ESQ.) WHEREIN THIS L...ETTER RAISED A SIGNIFACANT QUESTION AS TO WHETHER THERE WAS ANY LIGITITMATE FOUNDATION FOR THE PROSICUTION.IN ADDITION I HAVE RECENTLY HAVE BEEN MADE AWARE OF ADDITIONAL EXCULPATORY EVIDENCE FROM THE CLIEN FILE THAT MR. ORTNER SENT ME HIMSELF (11-12-2019) RECEIVED/ OPENED (01-24-1213) THE EXCULPATORY EVIDENCE INCLUDED STATMENTS MADE BY THE ASSUMED VICTEIM WHICH REPEATIDLY RAISED THE LACK OF FOUNDATION FOR PROSICUTION. PRIOR TO THE COURTS DECISION, I HAD MADE NUMERIOS ATTEMPTS TO COMPELL MUTUAL DISCOVERY OF ALL THE FACTS AND EVIDENCE IN THE CASE BY MR. ORTNER IN WHICH HE NEVER WAS NEVER COMPLIED WITH. HAD I BEEN ALLOWED TO ABOVE METIONED ARTICALS I WOULD HAVE MADE A DIFFERENT DICISION REGAURD ING THIS CASE.THIS BEING SAID I WOULD NOT RECOMEND HIS OFFICE FOR SERVICES!
