PERFECTION

My wife and I have been with Mark Drobny for about 12 years now and we have found both he and his staff to be consummate professionals. My wife and I sleep better at night knowing that our estate/trust/will has been expertly planned and executed.

Review of Mark Drobny's Work

Mark Drobny's work is praiseworthy. He is precise. When he gave me drafts of trust-related documents, he provided me with valuable notes to guide my reading. These materials were client-oriented and written in layperson's language. Nothing was left to chance and all was comprehensible. He prepared... me for any possibilities that could derail the processes of making the trust work. His work is impeccable. All documents were without flaw. Not only was everything professional, but Mark is personable. He is a lawyer to both like and trust. I have been totally comfortable in what can be an uncomfortable task. I would recommend him and his firm . He is a laudatory lawyer.

Mark Drobny did an excellent job in preparing our will.

I give Mark Drobny of Drobny Law Offices 5 stars for doing an excellent job preparing my Will. As part of preparing my Will, he gave me bound copies of my Will, Restated Trust, Durable Powers of Attorney for Financial Management and Advance Health Care Directives. He included five (5) unbound copie...s of my Advance Health Care Directives to be given to my primary care physician and my agents and alternate agents for health care decisions. He retained the original documents in his office in a fireproof safe. He also included two (2) Advance Health Care ID Cards, on to be kept with my driver’s license, and the other in the console of my car. I also received an Estate Planning binder containing copies of my executed documents, as well as ten (10) extra copies of my Certification of Trust and five (5) extra copies of my Advance Health Care Directive. I also received instruction on acquiring new real property, savings accounts, certificates of deposit, treasury bills, stocks, bonds and other property that might be subject to probate. These are to be taken in the name of the Family Revocable Trust which Mark Drobny amended and restated in their entirety. I received ten (10) copies of the Certification of my Trust which can be used when this occurs. This Certification of my Trust can be given to people when they ask for a copy of my Trust. The Certification has the relevant information they need, and not the entire Trust document which has confidential information. I was also given information on changing the secondary/contingent beneficiary designation on any new IRA’s, pensions, annuities, etc. to the “Trust” which Mark Drobny restated. I was also given information on changing the secondary/contingent beneficiary designation on any new life insurance policies to the “Trust” which Mark Drobny restated. I was also given information on changing the secondary/contingent beneficiary designation on any new savings accounts, certificates of deposit, securities, treasury bills, etc. to the “Trust” which Mark Drobny restated. As I waited in Mark Drobny’s office, I read his commitment to helping others receive a higher education. Mark received the CSUS President’s medal for Distinguished Service in June of 2014. He formed or chaired the planned giving committees for many major Northern California charities and is one of the region’s top experts on Charitable Remainder Trusts and other Planned Giving concepts. Mark has been a member of The Sacramento Estate Planning Council since 1982, was the founding editor of their monthly newsletter, and a member of their Board of Directors for eight years. Mark has served as a Judge Pro Tem for the Sacramento Superior Court’s Probate division for over 20 years. While meeting with Mark, he did not suggest or infer that a Charitable Remainder Trust or Planned Giving is something we should do.

Excellence

I have been a client since 2011. We established a trust, they funded our assets for us. When state law changed, we amended our trust upon their advice. Glad we did that. Now that my husband has passed, estate administration is easier as promised. They were very efficient and helpful at a confusi...ng time as surviving spouse. VERY REASONABLE FEES! Upon my recommendation, my sister is now also a client.

A Load Off My Shoulders

I had a will made 30 years ago and knew I needed to update it. But,like most people, I just kept putting it off. I went to a seminar presented by Mr. Drobny and was impressed with the depth of the knowledge he had and the way he made the steps seems achievable and less imposing. His staff promptly s...ent me a planning sheet that covered every aspect of my estate - including many things I had not thought of, including who would care for my pets. After my first meeting with Mr. Drobny, I left confident that I had made the right decision for my estate planning (a trust) and that I had the right person handling the details. When I received the draft of the trust, the information was accurate and exactly reflected my wishes. When I went to sign the papers, Mr. Drobny answered all of my questions. I went home that night with a huge load off my shoulders. The next week, the trust packet arrived, with extra copies of everything I would need, including wallet cards for emergency purposes. A great, comfortable experience from start to finish.
