Twa’Lea Jordan was born in Sacramento but was raised globally. During her adolescent years, she lived in numerous countries and states because her father was in the United States Air Force. After graduating from high school, she attended American River College as a psychology major. After my first year of college, she enlisted in the United States Army Reserves as a Mental Health Specialist. While serving in the Army, she transferred to California State University Sacramento as a business major. She also served in AmeriCorps during undergraduate school.
While serving in the Army Twa'Lea was activated to serve in Operation Iraqi Freedom. Upon returning from the war, she graduated from California State University Sacramento and attended the University of the Pacific’s McGeorge School of Law. During her first year of law school she also earned the privilege of participating in the Katrina-Gideon Project in New Orleans, LA and she also had the honor to work as a Judicial Extern to Chief Justice Raye of the Third District Court of Appeal.
Upon graduating law school, Twa’Lea participated in the California Capital Fellows Program. She served as a fellow to Assemblymember Steven Bradford. In this role, she assisted in drafting bills. One of the two bills that she staffed was signed into law by former Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger.
While serving in the California Capitol Fellows Program, Twa’Lea also completed the Los Rios Faculty Diversity Internship Program where she was mentored by the late Professor Fred Dawkins of Sacramento City College.
As a California licensed attorney, Twa’Lea has had the privilege of practicing law and serving as an educator. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family, cooking, and traveling.

I highly recommend Mrs. Twa'Lea Jordan. She went above and beyond my expectations in completing 3 QDRO's. I will need Mrs. Jordan's service for TRUST/WILL, I definitely will contact her office. I have already recommended her services to family.

Attorney Jordan is a true go getter!! She prides herself on learning various areas of the law and follows the law to the T. We hired her to handle a very personal, trying, and awarding experience in the matters of our son. She kept us informed and instructed us appropriately on what we needed to do...
