Gary Lee Link

Graduating 7th in his class at McGeorge School of Law, since 1979, Mr. Link and his associates have zealously represented Sacramento area landlords and property owners in a wide variety of legal matters. In the landlord-tenant field of law, his office has handled over 45,000 eviction cases and litigated over 15,000 eviction trials for local landlords.
On the subject of landlord-tenant law, for many years Mr. Link has been a frequent lecturer and speaker for the former Sacramento Valley Apartment Association, the former Rental Housing Association of Sacramento Valley, the Sacramento Association of Realtors, the California State Bar Association - Continuing Legal Education Courses, the Certified Resident Manager’s Course, the National Association of Residential Property Managers, the National Business Institute, and for real estate classes at American River College and Sacramento City College, as well as classes for officers of both the Sacramento Sheriff’s Office and the Sacramento City Police Department. He frequently speaks to property management companies, real estate companies, and neighborhood associations throughout the Sacramento area on the subject of legal rights for those in the real estate field.
Mr. Link is a lecturer and author of the booklet entitled “How to Win in Small Claims Court,” co-author of a National Business Institute publication entitled “Residential and Commercial Evictions in California,” and co-author of the “Tenant-Landlord Handbook” for the City of Sacramento Human Rights and Fair Housing Commission. For many years Mr. Link has also been an author of numerous landlord-tenant articles for the Sacramento Bee, the former Sacramento Valley Apartment Association, the former Rental Housing Association of Sacramento Valley, the National Association of Residential Property Managers, Quinlan Publishing, National Credit Reporting, the Sacramento Resident Manager’s Association and the Landlord’s Newsletter.
Mr. Link has been a Commissioner for the City of Sacramento Human Rights and Fair Housing Commission, Chairman of the Civil Liaison Committee to the Sacramento Municipal Court, task force member for the City of Sacramento Neighborhood Nuisance Abatement Ordinance, and a Substandard Housing Task Force member for the County of Sacramento. Mr. Link has also been the legal advisor for the Rental Housing Association of Sacramento Valley.
Mr. Link is President of the Law Office of Gary Link, Inc. He was also owner of the Sacramento Landlord Helpline and the California Small Claims Court Advisors Office. Mr. Link was also Co-Director of Guest Relations at Arcade Baptist Church in Sacramento, as well as the Chief Executive Officer of Christian Evangelism Outreach, and former Director of Capitol Fellowship Foundation Inc. Mr. Link is a former Director on the California Apartment Association Board of Directors, and the former Legal Advisor to the Rental Housing Association Board of Directors.
