Mr. Barrell was retained to assist my mother in what was turning out to be a very difficult and acrimonious divorce. The situation was made worse by the other party's refusal to cooperate or appear during hearings. Justin worked with us tirelessly over a significant period of time to help get closure... and resolution on this painful and difficult situation. He argued passionately and vehemently for my mother and protected what she had worked so hard for all these years. Executive Summary: I am very satisfied with the representation I got from Barrell & Janke Law. Details: I retained Justin Barrell (of Barrell & Janke Law) to represent me in a rather nasty divorce. Though there were no property or custody issues to work through, my ex made the whole process of ne...gotiating support much more difficult than it had to be. It literally took 13 months from beginning to end and we had to go through the Settlement Conference process and show up at the courthouse again - the week after the conference - ready to go to trial. Fortunately the judge who sets the trial was able to talk sense to my ex's counsel and we got an agreement without the "official" trial. My settlement turned out to be less than what I had offered to my ex last year - just to get things over and done with - which would have avoided having to go though all this. Too bad she didn't listen to reason sooner rather than later. Ultimately worked out to my advantage so I'm happy with the result!
