Biography
Joseph Chun is a personal injury attorney admitted to the State Bar of California, and the Northern, Eastern, Central, and Southern Districts of California. Joseph is a dedicated lawyer who fights vigorously for his clients while also having the emotional intelligence to listen mindfully about the "human factors" of every case.
He has been recognized for his outstanding credentials and qualifications, including awards from SuperLawyers, Avvo's Client's Choice Award, America's Top 100 Personal Injury Attorneys, and Best Attorneys of America. Joseph attended UC Davis School of Law, where he served as Law Review Editor and earned various academic distinctions, including the Top Oral Advocate Award and a Witkin Award for academic excellence. Joseph gained his first trial experience in federal court while still in law school as a member of the Civil Rights Clinic.
Upon passing the California Bar Exam, Joseph worked in San Francisco at a large national firm, previously recognized as one of the 40 largest firms in the United States. While he honed his litigation skills representing Fortune 500 Companies, he realized his calling was to represent individuals and eventually started his own practice. Joseph has appeared before federal and state court judges throughout California. In addition to practicing law, he served on the faculty at the California School of Law, where he taught courses in evidence and civil procedure. He also served as President (Davis Chapter) of Phi Delta Phi, the International Legal Honor Society, and has Lifetime Membership status with MENSA, which requires a score at or above the 98th percentile on IQ/intelligence tests.
When not practicing law, Joseph enjoys meditation, martial arts, playing blues harmonica & ukulele, and spending time with his family and dog.

What great work!
